Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have been invited to their cousin Peter Phillips' royal wedding next month.

The York sisters have shunned the spotlight since revelations in the so-called Epstein files earlier this year saw their names mentioned several times by their parents, Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. There was no indication of any wrongdoing.

They are expected to join the rest of the royal family at All Saints' Church in Kemble on June 6 for Peter Phillips' wedding to Harriet Sperling, according to The Sun

A source told the paper that Beatrice "is going" while Eugenie, who will be in her second trimester of pregnancy, "hopes" to attend, adding that the family "needs good news".

It will be the first time they have been seen with other members of the royal family in months, since the Christmas Day service at Sandringham, having missed the Easter celebrations and events to celebrate the late Queen Elizabeth's centenary.

Princess Eugenie, Andrew and Sarah's younger daughter, 36, announced she was pregnant with her third child earlier this month.

Who is invited to Peter Phillips' wedding?

While the full guest list has not been released, King Charles and Queen Camilla are expected to be at the church, as are the Prince and Princess of Wales, and the Edinburgh family.

Peter's divorced parents, Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, his stepfather Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, his sister Zara Tindall, and her husband Mike Tindall, are also among the likely attendees.

Who isn't attending?

However, HELLO! revealed exclusively last week that Andrew, Sarah, and Prince Harry have not been invited

A friend of the couple told us: "Peter and Harriet's wedding is an intimate occasion with their close friends and immediate family around them in the Cotswolds. It’s an area where they grew up and is very special to them both.

"When and whether Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson had been invited, it was probably not deemed appropriate to invite them. It’s Peter and Harriet’s special day, and clearly their attendance would cause a distraction to the whole day."

When asked if Prince Harry would be coming, the friend said: "Peter and Harry haven’t spoken for several years and have simply lost touch, so he hasn’t been invited." Peter Phillips' spokesman was previously approached for comment but declined to comment.

Peter previously attended Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle in 2018.

Breaking cover

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have seemingly begun a slow and steady return to public life.

Last weekend, the sisters enjoyed a night out in London for model Poppy Delevigne's 40th birthday bash, partying the night away at Marylebone's Hart pub, with A-list guests including Taylor Swift.

Eugenie wore a tight black dress showing off her blossoming baby bump, arriving with her husband, Jack Brooksbank. Buckingham Palace previously confirmed news of the pregnancy, adding that King Charles was "delighted" upon hearing the news.

"August (aged five) and Ernest (aged two) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family," the statement added.
