Princess Eugenie has welcomed her third child – and she's been surrounded by congratulations from all her family.
The younger daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, 36, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are now proud parents to a baby girl.
After sharing a sweet picture of their new arrival on Instagram – featuring the newborn wrapped in a light pink baby grow with angel wings and her fingers tightly wrapped around Jack's hand – the couple was inundated with royal congratulations messages.
Princess Alessandra of Hannover wrote: "Congratulations!!!!!", adding three flower emojis and three pink hearts.
Flora Vesterberg, the granddaughter of Princess Alexandra, added: "Congratulations! 🤍 Wonderful news for you all. Our daughters are only a few weeks apart xx"
Eugenie also received a comment from her brother-in-law, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who is the husband of her older sister, Princess Beatrice.
Edo commented three pink hearts and an angel emoji. The property developer is active on Instagram, while his wife does not have a public account, so it was likely a message from both of them.
Edoardo's friendship with Princess Eugenie
Edoardo and Princess Beatrice married in 2020, and the couple is close with Beatrice and Jack.
In July, the four attended Peter and Harriet Phillips' royal wedding together, putting on a united display after months of hardship following Andrew and Sarah's repeated mentions in the Epstein files.
Edo and Eugenie share a warm relationship as brother and sister-in-law, often engaging on social media to celebrate family milestones.
For example, when Eugenie announced her baby news back in May, Edo was quick to reach out to her with a public message of support.
The architect shared three red heart emojis under the post.
Princess Eugenie welcomes her third child
It's not only Edoardo who has reached out to Princess Eugenie, as a statement from Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles, Queen Camilla, and "other members of the royal family" are delighted by the news.
Eugenie is yet to name her baby girl, as HELLO! understands that the royal, 36, and Jack, 40, are taking their time choosing a name for their new arrival and will announce it when they feel the time is right.
The couple’s latest addition to their family was born on Monday at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal, weighing 6lb 9oz, and mother and baby are said to be doing well.
The birth is a rare occasion where a member of the royal family has been born overseas, with Eugenie and Jack having a home and other connections in Portugal.
