Robert Irwin has praised Prince William's "authentic passion" after he and the future King were reunited on a fully electric London bus. The Dancing with the Stars winner and conservationist joined the future King and young Londoners for the trip on his way to host the annual Earthshot Prize Impact Assembly at the Guildhall.

"It's always wonderful catching up with  Prince William," Robert told HELLO!: "The last time I saw him, he Facetimed me during Dancing with the Stars, to wish me well on that. I got to represent conservation to a stage I never thought I would be doing. So it was great.

"I'm always reminded of his leadership and his authentic passion. The Earthshot Prize would not be the success that it is without someone at the helm who really cares, and that is him. He cares very, very deeply, and you know someone with his platform that is just mobilized, creating as much change as possible, is fantastic."

The World Cup is one of the biggest sporting highlights in the calendar – so it's no surprise that the royals are getting just as competitive as the rest of us. 

Taking place every four years, this year the games are being hosted jointly by 16 cities across Canada, Mexico, and the United States. 

Queen Maxima, Princess Ariane, and Princess Rajwa are among the royals who have been spotted in the stands so far.  

Queen Maxima, King Willem-Alexander, and their youngest daughter, Princess Ariane, got truly into the World Cup spirit on Saturday. 

The Dutch royals attended two games on 20 June. They were seen in the crowds at the Netherlands vs Sweden game at Houston Stadium, but also attended the Ecuador vs Curaçao game at Kansas City Stadium. 

In a remarkably candid moment, they even joined the players in their dressing room afterwards, dancing to music to celebrate the Caribbean island's first-ever World Cup point after achieving a draw. 

Princess Ariane, 19, who made her tiara debut this month at a state banquet with Japan, was also seen dancing along.

An unprecedented heatwave has hit the UK, with temperatures set to soar even further on Wednesday and Thursday. The highest recorded temperature so far stands at 35.6°C back in 1976, but weather experts have warned that we should brace for figures climbing up to 39°C this week. 

This extreme heat has resulted in a Met Office red weather warning and many schools in central and southern England are closing for two days to prevent any classroom incidents. 

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis all attend Lambrook School, located in Berkshire. While the institution has not made a public announcement about a closure, many Berkshire schools nearby are closing at midday to stop the children, who are vulnerable to extreme heat, from being cooped up in the classroom. Even if the school remains open, outdoor play is almost certain to be capped, and it is likely that extra hydration provisions will be in place.

Pippa Middleton shares a special connection with her niece, Princess Charlotte, but we rarely get to see their bond in public. 

The Princess of Wales  Princess of Wales's younger sister showed just how close she is with Charlotte, now 11, as they watched the Wimbledon tennis tournament together in 2024. 

Charlotte was seen in a constant state of giggles as she spent time with her beloved aunt, offering a rare glimpse into their relationship. 

At one point, Charlotte whispered in Pippa's ear to tell her something, with Pippa responding with a smirk. They looked so in sync with matching sunglasses and even matched their hairstyles, opting for a half-up, half-down style. 

It's the only time we've seen them pictured next to one another in public, though they often attend the same royal family events. For example, Charlotte and her older brother Prince George were page boy and bridesmaid at Pippa's wedding to James Matthews at St Mark's Church in 2017.
