The UK is delighted by the news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be visiting next month, as Prince Harry is in town for the Invictus Games in Birmingham. While details of their trip will remain under wraps, we've spotted a clue that could indicate a special family reunion will be taking place.

Harry's mother grew up at Althorp House in Northamptonshire, and according to the website for the stately home, the property is going to be closed on the 10 and 11 July, even though that falls within their limited summer opening timeline, which is 1 July - 31 August. Perhaps the Sussex family is planning a visit here amid Harry's Invictus Games commitments, which run from 10 - 17 July.

HELLO! understands that royal residence accommodation has been offered but it has not been confirmed or denied if this has been accepted. Also, no additional arrangements have been made for security for the family at present.

It wouldn't be the first time that Harry has taken the trip back to Althorp, which is now owned and run by his uncle, Earl Charles Spencer, as he used it as a base when he was back in 2024 for his uncle Lord Robert Fellowes' funeral.

Plus, he detailed in his memoir, Spare, that he took his wife Meghan Markle to Diana's grave when it was the 25th anniversary of her death. Her resting place is situated on an island in the Oval Lake at the residence. He penned: "No visit to this place was ever easy, but this one... Twenty-fifth anniversary. And Meg's first time. At long last, I was bringing the girl of my dreams home to meet mum. We hesitated, hugging, and then I went first. I placed flowers on the grave," he wrote. "Meg gave me a moment, and I spoke to my mother in my head, told her I missed her, and asked her for guidance and clarity."

Althorp House is a glorious Grade I listed stately home that opens to the public once a year for two months. Inside, the grand mansion features regal spaces like a massive, 10,000-book library and a sweeping staircase. Outside, the sprawling 13,000-acre Northamptonshire estate is so picturesque surrounded by a mystical deer park, woodland, and the serene Oval Lake, which Earl Charles Spencer often photographs.

While this may be Prince Archie's first visit to England in years, he'll fit right in when it comes to football. To mark Father's Day, Meghan Markle shared an adorable photograph of doting dad Prince Harry giving his children a big hug. It was clear to see Prince Archie was wearing England's football jersey. The red and white T-shirt read: "England FIFA World Cup 2026".
