Prince Archie looked just like his dad, Prince Harry, in the latest photo of the seven-year-old shared by his mother, Meghan Markle, on Tuesday. Meghan's eldest child with her husband was so tall as he was pictured running carefree around the backyard of their Montecito home with his dad, just like Harry as a youngster in the UK.

Harry was smiling at his son as they played together, the 41-year-old with a giant blown-up soccer ball that he rolled around. Archie was dressed in beige shorts and a blue T-shirt, with his bright red hair on full display in the sunshine.

The young prince seemed to have grown significantly in recent months, and is well on his way to catching up to his father's 6'2'' stature. "Springing into summer," Meghan captioned the Instagram post, as she shared several other photos from their California home.

In one snap, Meghan and Harry's daughter, Princess Lilibet, wore a shirt that read "B is for Beyoncé", pointing to her love of the legendary performer. The Duchess also included a photo of baby birds in a nest, a picture of her bounty of vegetables, and a clip of her chopping onions inside her kitchen.

The couple have been spending ample time with their two young kids following several months of traveling, which included a joint trip to Australia in April, Harry's visit to Ukraine weeks later, and Meghan's trip to Switzerland in May.

Prince Harry is reportedly preparing for a visit to his homeland of the UK in July to celebrate the Invictus Games a year out from the event in Birmingham. It is unclear if Meghan and the children will be joining the Duke in England, due to ongoing security concerns for the family.

Harry revealed in an interview with the BBC in 2025 that he hoped to bring his children to his homeland someday, but "didn't see a world" in which it would happen. The royal lost a legal challenge to be provided with armed protection when visiting the UK, a privilege that he forfeited when stepping down from his royal duties.

"I'm devastated – not so much as devastated with the loss that I am about the people behind the decision, feeling as though this is okay. Is it a win for them?" he said. "I'm sure there are some people out there, probably most likely the people that wish me harm, [who] consider this a huge win."

Harry continued: "I love my country, I always have done, despite what some people in that country have done... and I think that it's really quite sad that I won't be able to show my children my homeland."

He shared his hopes for familial reconciliation in the interview, adding that despite the "many disagreements between myself and some of my family," he had now "forgiven" them.

"I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point continuing to fight any more; life is precious," he said, sharing that the issues surrounding security have "always been the sticking point".

Archie was just 10 months old when the family moved to the US, and Lilibet was born in her mother's homeland.
