Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are due to head to the UK next month for their first time in four years, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend the "One Year To Go" ceremony for the Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham in 2027.

The children haven't been in the United Kingdom since 2022, when they returned for the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, and the Duke of Sussex reportedly wants to introduce his children to wider family members while also showing them places from his childhood.

While it's likely that Archie and Lilibet will spend time with their grandfather, King Charles, it seems very unlikely they'll be seeing their uncle, Prince William, alongside their three royal cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Speaking to Page Six, royal commentator Amanda Matta said: "Even if relations are gradually improving, the Wales household likely has a full schedule already in place for the summer, and any reunion involving the cousins would require tons of planning and goodwill from all parties involved."

She added that the "biggest hurdle" between the two cousins meeting up would be the tensions between Harry and William, alongside their respective wives, Meghan Markle and Princess Kate.

Have Prince Harry and Prince William's children ever met?

It remains unclear whether the Wales children have ever met their royal cousin Lilibet, with the trio away with their parents on an engagement in Cardiff when Lilibet was last in the UK.

While details about Lilibet's birthday party at Frogmore Cottage have remained rare, Harry did reveal that his young girl was able to reunite with her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

However, George, Charlotte and Louis have all met Archie, with the children all enjoying a playdate together back in 2019. It was the first time royal watchers got to see the newborn with his elder cousins, although HELLO! understands that George had a private meeting with his new family member prior to their day out.

It appears a lovely day was had by all; Charlotte and George were also pictured looking at their new family member, whilst Harry was seen beaming at his wife over his baby following the conclusion of his polo match.

Incredible images from the special meeting featured many sweet moments, one of which saw Louis being his cheeky self, toddling towards his aunt and baby cousin, wearing Kate's Ray-Ban sunglasses. Louis was also seen poking his tongue out and waving at Meghan, who was carrying little Archie.
