Sarah Ferguson, 66, is laying low from the public spotlight after her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, has lost his royal titles and been publicly banished from his home and family. His fall from grace stemmed from his connections to disgraced paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein and Sarah had her own connections to him too.

Now, new details inside the three million documents published by the US Department of Justice have come to light, showing that Sarah visited Jeffrey's fake business headquarters to meet with him while he was serving his prison sentence.

The Daily Mail reports that the former Duchess of York travelled to Palm Beach in Florida to visit the Florida Science Foundation, which Epstein invented to secure work release while in prison, and she did so in two occasions - once in April 2009 and once in May.

On 4 April, 2009, Sarah sent him an email which read: "Hello Jeffrey. I am landing in Palm Beach in a couple of hours. Is there any chance on my quick layover that I can get to have a quick cup of tea… Love Sarah The red Head.!!"

In August 2009, "Sarah" thanked Epstein for “being the brother I have always wished for" and said she has “never been more touched by a friends kindness”.

Another message, sent in January 2010 - just six months after Epstein was released from prison - Sarah wrote: "You are a legend. I really don't have the words to describe, my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness. Xx I am at your service. Just marry me."

Where is Sarah Ferguson now?

The former royal appears to be living a nomad lifestyle after moving out of Andrew's Royal Lodge. Sarah has been spotted at luxury hotels and wellness centres across the globe, including the £13,000-a-day Paracelsus Recovery Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland for a month.  But she does not seem to have settled anywhere permanently. Her pregnant daughter, Princess Eugenie has a base in Portugal and rumours swirled about her heading there but that is yet to be determined.

It is believed that Sarah is actively trying to distance herself and her personal brand from her ex-husband, who has been ostracised from his family.

The mother-of-two does have connections in Switzerland as well as the US, and one of these destinations could well become home if she feels unwelcome in the UK.
