A new book about the Princess of Wales is coming out at the end of the month, but HELLO! readers will have the chance to see it in person first at an exclusive event we are hosting on Wednesday 23 September in central London.

Author Ingrid Seward's new book, Catherine & Diana, explores the two most famous Princesses of Wales – the current holder of the title, Catherine, and the late mother-in-law she never met, Princess Diana. Both royal women, who are often compared, have shaped the monarchy in their own unique way and their relationship to the Crown is the subject of Ingrid's book.

To celebrate these two iconic Princesses of Wales, HELLO! is hosting an intimate event – a live recording of A Right Royal Podcast – on Wednesday 23 September at Quaglino's – and you're invited! You'll have early access to Ingrid's book and be the first to hear an extract from it, plus have the chance to buy a signed copy, before it officially hits shelves later that week.

Our hosts of A Right Royal Podcast, Emily Nash, Andrea Caamano, and Emmy Griffiths, will be quizzing Ingrid on the real Diana and Catherine. Step beyond the headlines as our royal experts share their anecdotes about meeting the two Princesses, their take on how these royal women have influenced the monarchy, what Catherine's supporting role during her husband William's reign will look like, and much more.

We will also open the floor to you, our valued audience, for a Q&A session.

Upon arrival, guests will be treated to a welcome drink and delicious canapés. And you'll also go home with a goodie bag filled with treats including beauty products.

Mayfair hotspot Quaglino's, famed for its live music and luxurious art deco setting, couldn't be more fitting for our live podcast recording. It is steeped in royal history: the late Queen famously visited in 1956, making her the first British reigning monarch to eat out at a public restaurant.

Princess Diana herself would also frequent Quaglino's between 1995 and 1997, slipping in through the sidedoor so as not to be followed by paparazzi, while Princess Margaret had a permanently reserved table near the dance floor, dubbed the 'royal enclosure'. Other royals who have also been spotted at Quaglino's, just a stone's throw away from St James's Palace, include Prince Harry.

What to expect at our event

If you haven't been to one of our live podcast recordings before, you can watch the videos below to get an idea of what to expect. Welcome drinks, light bites, fascinating interviews, goodie bags, and meet-and-greets with our podcast hosts and guests are all part of the day.

And in June, in the lead-up to what would have been Princess Diana's 65th birthday, we marked the milestone with an afternoon tea and interviews with two people who knew her best, author Ingrid Seward and fashion designer Jacques Azagury.
