The intimate event – a live recording of A Right Royal Podcast – will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday 23 September at Quaglino's in central London, and you're invited!
Our podcast hosts, Emily Nash, Andrea Caamano, and Emmy Griffiths, will be quizzing author Ingrid Seward about her new book, Catherine & Diana, which explores how these two royal women have shaped the monarchy in their own unique way. Mayfair hotspot Quaglino's, famed for its live music and luxurious art deco setting, couldn't be more fitting for our live podcast recording. It is steeped in royal history: the late Queen famously visited in 1956, making her the first British reigning monarch to eat out at a public restaurant.
Princess Diana herself would also frequent Quaglino's between 1995 and 1997, slipping in through the sidedoor so as not to be followed by paparazzi, while Princess Margaret had a permanently reserved table near the dance floor, dubbed the 'royal enclosure'. Other royals who have also been spotted at Quaglino's, just a stone's throw away from St James's Palace, include Prince Harry.
