Last week, Meghan Markle delighted royal fans after sharing a carousel of heartwarming family photographs from the summer.

Among those, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, shared memories from the family's trip to Portugal, where they have a holiday house, and an extra special visit to Althorp House, Princess Diana's childhood home and final resting place.

In one sweet photograph, Archie is seen carrying a stick and walking through a field barefoot. The Prince, who is seen only from the back, was pictured gazing into the sunset ahead, with glimmers of orange haze peeking through the trees in the distance.

Royal fans were quick to notice just how much the seven-year-old has grown. Writing on social media, one wrote: "Wow, Prince Archie and Prince Lilibet are getting bigger, they're both tall."

A second said: "They are going to be tall!", with several others reiterating how much the pair have grown.

Meghan's private posts

Although the Sussexes are relatively private when it comes to sharing pictures of their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, Meghan occasionally offers a glimpse into family life with photographs that are usually taken from behind, without their faces visible.

The former actress has previously said she is "reluctant" to share photographs of the couple's children and that she hopes to give them "as normal a life as possible."

Posting a photograph from a family trip to Disneyland for Lilibet's fourth birthday last year, Meghan even chose to conceal their appearances by placing love heart emojis over the children's faces.

Other photographs from the Duchess's most recent post included a black-and-white photo of Prince Harry, 41, seemingly throwing Lilibet into the air as she takes an epic dive into a swimming pool. No doubt the pair both have plenty of time to practice their aquatic skills, as their parents own an outdoor swimming pool at their home in Montecito, California.

Another shows the young Princess walking through the gardens at Althorp House. Lilibet appears to have her arms full with several bags as she strolls a few metres behind her father and older brother, Archie.

Charles Spencer's potential visit

A poolside picture of Meghan lying on a sunlounger petting their family dog, Mia, recently sparked speculation that Harry's uncle, Charles Spencer, Princess Diana's brother, had visited the couple at the house.

If this is the case, he will be the first of Harry's relatives to have seen the California mansion. Archie and Lilibet were recently reunited with their grandfather King Charles for the first time in four years during a visit to Highgrove.

The private meeting, during which Prince William was not in attendance, took place earlier this month following days of speculation over whether a reunion would take place during Prince Harry's two-week trip to the UK.
