Savannah Phillips pictured being told off after cheeky moment left Prince George tearful

It's always refreshing to see royal children act, well, just like children.

We are so used to seeing the junior members of the royal family exuding the poise passed down from their relatives, but every so often we do see a seriously relatable moment from the youngsters.

But one moment with Prince George who is usually extremely composed when appearing in public, ended in his cousin, Savannah Phillips receiving a scolding by her mother, Autumn Phillips, the first wife of Peter Phillips. 

The occasion in question was a family day out at the Maserati Charity Polo Trophy in June 2018. Savannah, who is the eldest of Autumn and Peter's children, was then seven and jokingly pushed the future King down a hill, leaving him in shock and a bit tearful.

Following the interaction, Autumn could be seen telling off her daughter, who was giggling while sitting in the shade.

Over the years, the duo have developed quite a mischievous bond, which has been very well documented.

Princess Eugenie's royal wedding

Days before, the cousin-duo were part of the wedding party for the royal wedding of Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

Savannah was a bridesmaid while Prince George was a page boy. 

One candid moment saw Savannah attempting to make her little cousin laugh by playing a fake trumpet.

Trooping the Colour

During Trooping the Colour that year, royal fans got another helping of hilarious moments between the relatives.

Savannah clearly thought her then four-year-old cousin was being too loud for the duration of the RAF plane flyover. She gave him a "shush" gesture before playfully putting her hand over his mouth.

In 2019, the pair were separated for the annual balcony appearance, with Prince William and Kate and their three children to the left-hand-side of the balcony, while Savannah Phillips, her younger sister Isla and their parents, Peter and Autumn stood to the right.

Savannah and Prince Louis

During the Queen's Jubilee Pageant in 2022, Savannah's exuberant personality came in handy when she was unofficially in charge of keeping Prince Louis entertained when she was 11-years-old.

She, along with Zara and Mike Tindall's eldest daughter, Mia, could be seen high-fiving, chatting and generally entertaining the youngest Wales sibling, who was excellent entertainment for royal fans everywhere with his own cheeky facial expressions.
