The Prince of Wales, the future King, is seen in public to be poised, professional and charming, but it turns out that he can lose his cool, just like the rest of us. In Prince Harry's memoir Spare, he detailed an alleged physical altercation with his brother, and in retelling it, he revealed that his brother "stepped towards me, swearing".
It may be surprising to hear that William let loose with his curses, given the fact that he is so well-spoken in public. The other details were equally shocking. Harry penned: "He stepped towards me, swearing. To that point I’d been feeling uncomfortable, but now I felt a bit scared. I stood, brushed past him, went out to the kitchen, to the sink. He was right on my heels, berating me, shouting.

Do royals swear?
The simple answer is yes. Although most of them don't use those words in public, it's likely they do in the comfort of their own homes. There was one occasion, though, when the late Prince Philip dropped an expletive. During a 2015 Battle of Britain anniversary photocall at the RAF Club, the royal became impatient with the photographer and dropped the F bomb when asking him to take the picture swiftly.
Queen Camilla's son Tom Parker Bowles has also outed his mother as being fond of a secret swear word. The food writer and author discussed King Charles' wife's penchant for a cheeky turn of phrase during an interview on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show. He revealed that his mum has had to "revise" her language since taking the throne.

When it comes to raising his three children, William is keen to keep shouting to a minimum. He and his wife Princess Kate are believed to have adopted a strict “no shouting” rule at home, a parenting approach influenced by the training of their longtime Norland nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.
