Prince Harry's unexpected return to the UK appears to echo a striking prediction made by his late mother Princess Diana's trusted astrologer at the beginning of the year.
Astrologer to the stars Debbie Frank, who counted Diana, Princess of Wales, among her dearest friends, forecast that 2026 would offer Harry opportunities to make "fresh starts" and pursue exciting new ventures.
"Harry enters 2026 filled with motivation to power himself up with his goals and ambitions," Debbie said in her annual prediction.
"The year offers plenty of opportunity to make fresh starts and enter into new joint ventures that promise excitement and opportunity."

The family arrived in the UK on 26 August and have established a private, non-royal home base while retaining their Montecito residence.

Archie and Lilibet have now started school in Britain for the first time, with details of their school and the Sussexes' new home remaining private.
The move marks a dramatic reversal for Harry, who said in May 2025 that he could not envisage returning to Britain with his wife and children because of concerns surrounding their security.
"I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point," he told the BBC after losing a legal challenge over the level of protection provided to his family.
© Getty ImagesHowever, the situation appears to have changed sufficiently for the Sussexes to return for an extended period, giving Archie and Lilibet the opportunity to experience life in their father's home country.
Harry reportedly wanted his children "to understand the world he grew up in and where their family comes from".

Debbie's forecast also focused heavily on Harry's strained relationship with his elder brother, Prince William. "The new moon on 16 May will bring a flashpoint in his relationship with his brother, which will require careful handling," she predicted. "Can he find a way to build bridges in the month of June?"

Harry and his father reunited privately at Highgrove in July, when the King reportedly saw Archie and Lilibet for the first time in more than four years. Father and son have also spoken by telephone since Harry's return, although they have not met face-to-face again.
William and Harry, however, are reportedly still not in contact, and the Prince of Wales has shown no public indication that he is ready to reconcile.

Debbie predicted that September would bring Harry success as he explored new ways to communicate his message, followed by another significant royal turning point in October. "The full moon on 26 October will flash across the royal family's charts, picking up Harry's Pluto, the planet of powerful transformation," she said.
"This is likely to focus his mind on his position within the family and create a ripple effect through the rest of the year. Harry will strive to negotiate his role and is set to come up with a solution before the end of 2026."

A letter issued through the Lord Chamberlain described the couple's position as "akin to private citizens" and confirmed that their charitable and commercial projects are undertaken independently rather than on behalf of the monarchy.
A spokesperson for the Sussexes said the couple were "a little surprised" that they had not been given more notice before the letter was released. Harry is now focusing on a busy programme of charitable work, including engagements connected to the Invictus Games Foundation and the WellChild Awards.
Whether his renewed presence in Britain will eventually help repair his relationship with William remains uncertain, but Harry has previously made his hopes clear. "I would love reconciliation with my family," he told the BBC. "There's no point in continuing to fight anymore."
