The Princess of Wales stepped out looking sensational on Tuesday evening, sporting a floor-length purple gown for the Digger premiere in London. Her outfit was immaculate, featuring royal jewels perfectly complementing her Jenny Packham gown but in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, Princess Kate’s dress was accidentally stepped on during the night. The royal felt the tug of the material and turned her head, but she kept a smile on her face the whole time, and even appeared to be saying "That's fine," to the person who made the mistake.
© Getty ImagesKate handled the blooper with absolute grace, and it didn’t interrupt her evening at all. In fact, it looked like she had a wonderful date night with her husband who dazzled in a velvet jacket.
Not long after the incident, she was seen smiling and chatting with two youngsters alongside William, ahead of them settling down to watch the film. The little ones presented the couple with flowers and a programme, and managed to execute perfect curtsies for the royals.
Throughout the night, Kate was seen adjusting the large train herself, and carrying it in her hand as she climbed some steps. In another moment, Tom Cruise was nearby to hold the Princess' hand gently for her to graciously glide down a set of steps with ease.

Ahead of the royal arrival, while Tom worked the red carpet, he spoke to reporters about William and Kate: "I just love them. They are lovely people and I have great respect for them."
The trio seemed to hit it off when they were last pictured on the red carpet together in May 2022, at the UK premiere of Top Gun: Maverick, again at Leicester Square in London.
Kate's precious jewels
Ahead of the night, Kate's team reached into the royal vaults for an extra special necklace, the Queen Mother’s Amethyst Sautoir Necklace, which she wore proudly. It is a century-old pearl strand piece featuring a heart-shaped amethyst and diamond pendant in the centre, originally gifted to Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon in 1923. Queen Camilla was pictured in the necklace in 2012 for the Skyfall premiere. The 44-year-old's look was also paired with Princess Diana’s Collingwood Pearl Drop earrings, a nod to her late mother-in-law, whom she never got to meet.
