Although Prince Michael of Kent stepped back from being a working royal in 2022, the younger brother of the Duke of Kent still makes the occasional public appearance.
On Friday, the 84-year-old headed to Woodcote Park, a country house that serves as the headquarters for the Royal Automobile Club; Prince Michael has served as its president since 1979.
A video shared by the organisation showed Michael arriving at the stately home, before getting a tour of its new facilities. The royal was seen supporting himself with a walking stick during the tour, which included viewing several antique cars.
The royal has long been fascinated with motorsports and vintage cars. Just last month, he headed to the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace, where he was pictured in a wheelchair.
He has also been a regular attendee at Silverstone over the years, and in 2015, he presented Sir Lewis Hamilton with the trophy after the Brit snatched victory at the iconic track.
Prince Michael of Kent's recent appearances
The royal's latest official outing came at the end of last month when he joined his relatives to pay tribute to the late Duchess of Kent, who passed away in September 2025.
The Kents were seen heading to a concert at Sinfonia Smith Square in London, organised by the late royal's charity, Future Talent. Also present were the Duke of Kent and the late Duchess's three children: Lady Helen Taylor, the Earl of St Andrews, and Lord Nicholas Windsor, in pictures shared by The Telegraph.
Prince Michael was seen using a walking aid and being supported as he entered the venue.
The evening was hosted by Alexander Armstrong and included performances by more than 40 young musicians, including the Future Talent Orchestra. One piece, Destiny's Journey by Future Talent alumnus Sam Nutter, was specially written in the late Duchess of Kent's honour.
"Katharine's love of life, her love of music, but most particularly, her love of people in all their infinite variety," Alexander said as he introduced the evening, as reported by The Telegraph.
Michael stepped back from his duties as a working royal in 2022, as he approached his 80th birthday.
