With awards season well and truly underway, there's no better time to do some star-spotting in Los Angeles! More celebrities descend upon the city than ever at this time of year, with the bars, hotels and restaurants of West Hollywood regularly playing host to A-Listers including Jennifer Aniston, George Clooney and Hugh Grant while tucking in to your dinner or ordering a cocktail at the bar.

Craig's restaurant

Craig’s has long been a celebrity hotspot in West Hollywood, and offers something for every appetite, from upscale comfort food to vegan specialities. Craig's has been frequented by everyone from the Kardashians to George Clooney or Mariah Carey and features permanent door paparazzi. Paris Hilton was spotted here on 6 January with fiancé Chris Zylka.

Gracias Madre

Gracias Madre

Located right by the Design District, this popular restaurant offers 100 per cent organic, plant-based Mexican cuisine sourced from locally grown organic ingredients. Russell Brand and wife Laura Gallacher were recently seen visiting Gracias Madre for lunch. Other stars to have been spotted here include Amanda Seyfried, Mariah Carey and Golden Globe nominee Jessica Chastain.

Madeo

Madeo serves traditional Italian cuisine presented in an old-school setting with white-tablecloth dining and is well known for being a huge hit with celebrities. Some of the A-list stars spotted here include Bella Hadid, Emma Roberts and Taylor Swift. Last weekend Hugh Grant, who was in LA to present an award at the Golden Globes, was spotted here having dinner with his girlfriend Anna Eberstein.

Urth Caffe

After several years learning how to roast and brew great coffee, the owners of Urth Caffe launched the nation's first exclusively organic, heirloom coffee company. They named it Urth Caffé because Urth is an old Welsh root spelling of Earth and Caffé is Italian for coffee. This coffee shop is frequently visited by stars including Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Hailey Baldwin and Katie Holmes and will most likely be filled with the stars recovering from awards season parties over the next few weeks.

Perched above the streets of the stylish West Hollywood Design District on the corner of Melrose Avenue and San Vicente Blvd, CATCH LA is the west coast outpost of acclaimed New York restaurant CATCH, and serves globally influenced seafood with a breathtaking views of downtown LA and the Hollywood Hills. With a focus on the food, CATCH LA keeps it fresh, incorporating local and sustainable ingredients wherever possible. Experience the 340-seat rooftop haven overlooking LA with A-list visitors including Kendall Jenner (who celebrated her birthday dinner here with the whole Kardashian crew). Golden Globe award nominee Jessica Chastain has also been seen here several times previously.

Located on the iconic Sunset Boulevard, you'll find the Chateau Marmont hotel, a luxury retreat built in 1920 inspired by a historical French chateau with secret entrances and exits, along with romantic bungalows and garden cottages. W Magazine held their Golden Globes pre-party at Chateau Marmont on 4 January, bringing a huge crowd of celebs including Golden Globe nominees James Franco, Tracee Ellis Ross and Kyle MacLachlan.

The Sunset Marquis hotel is just a short ride from where the Golden Globes are held.
