Dylan Dreyer's sons knew just what to do so their mom could have a joyful Mother's Day.
On Sunday, May 11, the TODAY anchor celebrated Mother's Day, the first she is celebrating since filing for divorce from husband Brian Fichera earlier this month, following their split in July 2025.
The former couple had tied the knot in 2012, and are parents to sons Calvin, eight, and Oliver, five, and Rusty, four.
Returning to TODAY's 3rd Hour on Monday, May 11, Dylan, speaking with co-hosts Craig Melvin and Kaylee Hartung (Al Roker was off), Dylan revealed that her sons got her the best gift possible: letting her sleep until 8:30 A.M.
"It was incredible," she gushed, maintaining that it was "a beautiful day" spent celebrating.
Dylan gave further insight into her Mother's Day over on Instagram, sharing photos featuring all three boys, who also treated their mom to hand-drawn cards and breakfast in bed.
"Mother's Day ice cream picnic in the minivan!! The boys let me sleep until 8:30 (!!!) and brought me breakfast in bed," Dylan shared, adding: "I'm in awe every day by how much love they show me and how my heart wants to explode with love for them."
"I'm so blessed and thankful to be their mom," she continued. "And I'm so grateful for my mom… my strength and resilience comes directly from her!! Happy Mother's Day to the moms in your life!"
Fans and friends alike were then quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over it, with Dylan's co-star Jenna Bush Hager writing: "Happy mama's day to a really great one!" as others followed suit with: "Happy Mother's Day, what beautiful boys," and: "A very Happy Mother's Day to a very special wonderful mom!" as well as: "Happy Mother's Day Dylan and to your mom. Your boys are adorable!"
Dylan and her husband Brian previously lived in the Battery Park area of New York City, but back in October, she confirmed that she and the boys had officially made the move out to the suburbs.
The meteorologist announced her split from Brian with a statement on Instagram on July 18, which started with: "For many years, I have shared my family with you all — the highs and lows, the ups and downs, and all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between. I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you've given me through it all," before confirming: "For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate."
"We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends. Most importantly, we will continue to co-parent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for one another," she emphasized, and concluded: "Thank you as always for your support."
