Mika Abdalla has won fans over with her portrayal of Allie Hayes in Prime Video's hit Off Campus series based on Elle Kennedy's book series of the same name.
While viewers got a taste of Allie's romance with playboy Dean Di Laurentis in season one (their relationship will be the focus of season two), Mika's real-life love life is far less complicated.
The actress has been dating former child star Jake Short for five years, and their engagement was confirmed in 2025.

Jake discovered acting in 2007 and began honing his craft in Indiana before moving to LA and bagging himself a manager and an agent.
"I got into acting four years ago," he recalled in a 2011 interview. "I started in Indiana, where I'm from. I basically developed from there. I came out here, got a manager and agent, and that's basically my story in how I got involved in acting."

He's an award-winning former child star
Jake made a name for himself on the Disney Channel and starred as young prodigy Fletcher Quimby in the series A.N.T. Farm (2011-2014), which won him a Kids Choice Award for Favorite TV Actor in 2012.
He also featured in Disney's Mighty Med and Lab Rats: Elite Force. Most recently, he guest-starred in season two of High Potential.

He's a director
In March 2026, Jake revealed that he had directed his first short, Delirium. The film also stars his Disney collaborator Bradly Steven Perry, who appeared in Lab Rats and Mighty Med.
"Could not be more thrilled to share that my first crack at directing a short will be screened in my home city at BHFF and close to my home town at CIFF!" he wrote on Instagram at the time. "The odds that these screenings are one day apart seems impossible, but please please buy tickets if you are able to attend either festival on April 14th or 15th. I will be attending both festivals!!"
He added: "Countless lessons were learned in this process and I have a million thanks to give to everyone that has helped along the way. I could go on and on here, but I'll save that. Cause really I just want to keep creating things with my friends. And I hope I get to share a lot more of this more often. See you at the screening and on the next project very soon."

Here's to forever," Brian captioned a sweet photo of the couple on Instagram.
