Timothée Chalamet is a chameleon on screen. Off screen, the Dune actor revealed a brand new look.

The 30-year-old star debuted a shorter hairstyle and a clean-shaven face as he attended the New York Knicks play the Cleveland Cavaliers at Madison Square Garden. Timothée paired his new look with a casual, camouflage-print joggers and an oversized sweatshirt.

While fans loved his fresh look, it was his girlfriend Kylie Jenner's comment that got the internet talking. On Wednesday, May 20, a day after the Knicks dramatic comeback against the Cavaliers, eagle eyed fans spotted Kylie, 28, commenting "daddy" underneath a Page Six TikTok video of Timothée arriving at MSG.

The couple have been dating for over three years and go on frequent date nights to Knicks games. While Kylie skipped out on the recent Eastern Conference Finals matchups, she seems to be supporting the team and Timothée from afar.

Timothée's love of the Knicks

The Marty Supreme actor is a lifelong Knicks fan. He first started posting about his beloved basketball team in November 2010 when he was a 14-year-old high school student. Since then, he's become a staple in celebrity row, alongside Spike Lee, Ben Stiller, and Mariska Hargitay.

Timothée even skips out on work events to cheer on the Knicks. On the first Monday in May, the actor chose to forgo a night at the 2026 Met Gala for Game 1 against the Philadelphia 76ers. While he soaked up the electric fan camaraderie, Kylie commanded the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a striking Schiaparelli gown by Daniel Roseberry.

While he focused his energy on acting, Timothée has some basketball skills. In early May, he proved he liked to play the sport too as he dribbled on the Knicks' court and made an impressive three-point shot, posting the video to his 21.2 million Instagram followers.

The Knicks' official Instagram account responded to his post, writing: "check your dms we just sent you a 10-day," cheekily suggesting they would offer him a temporary NBA contract.

Other celebrity Knicks fans

Timothée is not the only A-lister who loves the Knicks. Brooklyn born director Spike Lee has been a season ticket holder since 1985 and is seen in the stands wearing bright orange. Saturday Night Live alum Tracy Morgan is at nearly every game and even had a bit of a health scare at a 2025 game.

Anne Hathaway is a huge Knicks fan. In April 2026, the Devil Wears Prada 2 actress told Jimmy Fallon: "When I'm at the game, I want them to know that I know who they are and that they're going to win. I don't want to get out into like, 'What are you doing?' [and] all that; I want them to know that you can do no wrong. I'm trying to be a gentle, loving, motherly fan."
