Kurt Russell went on a trip down memory lane at the beginning of the week, delighting fans with a decade-old photo from the archives.

The Hollywood star rarely posts on social media, but via his GoGi Wines account, he shared a picture of himself with super short hair — taken while he was filming Deepwater Horizon — to look back at the brand's very first vintage wine.

In the picture, Kurt stood next to a collection of wine bottles looking deep in thought, while sporting a short hairdo spiked up with gel, and a moustache.

The hairstyle was for the role of Jimmy Harrell in Mark Wahlberg's 2016 biographical disaster film. The look contrasted sharply with Kurt's usual rugged long hair, which he has sported for years.

Kurt founded GoGi Wines in 2008, with the actor launching the brand in partnership with Peter and Rebecca Work at Ampelos Cellars located in California's Santa Rita Hills.

The talented star named his wine company after his childhood nickname, GoGi, which is also the moniker his grandchildren call him.

On the company's website, he explained that launching his brand began after many bike trips with Goldie Hawn and their family through wine regions in France, Italy and California.

He wrote: "Those fabulous excursions through picturesque vineyards provided the opportunity to sample many terrific wines. Sampling might be putting it lightly, especially where Burgundy is concerned.

"Those wines didn't just steal my palate, they stole my heart. It wasn't long before the dream of creating beautiful wines of my own (specifically Pinot Noir) was born. The many treasured conversations I've shared with various winemakers and producers from Burgundy to Bordeaux and Tuscany to Napa served to fuel my dream to someday take the leap from fantasy to reality."

Kurt has named his wine after numerous family members over the years too. His chardonnay has always been named Goldie, while he has named specific vintage pinot noirs after his kids, including Oliver and Kate Hudson.

Kurt and Goldie have been together for over 40 years and first met when he was 16 and she was 21. The pair reconnected in 1983 at Kurt's audition for their film Swing Shift, and they had their first date soon after and quickly fell in love.

The couple share son Wyatt Russell, while Goldie is also mom to Oliver and Kate, who she shares with ex-husband Bill Hudson, while Kurt is dad to son Boston Russell, from his first marriage to Season Hubley.
