Bella Hadid has been causing a storm with her glamorous gowns at Cannes, but she's just as memorable off the red carpet, too.
The 29-year-old left very little to the imagination while sunning herself on a luxury yacht on the French Riviera on Friday, May 22.
Bella put her supermodel physique front and center in a barely-there white swimsuit that took her fondness for 'naked' dressing to new heights.
She looked phenomenal in the plunging, thong bathing suit that featured dramatic cut-outs and string ties that wrapped around her bronzed body.
Bella shared some photos of her excursion on her Instagram Stories, including one photo of her looking through a pair of binoculars, bent over the railing with her derrière on display.
Bella has been a standout at Cannes this year. On May 20, she graced the red carpet for the La Bataille De Gaulle: L'Âge De Fer (De Gaulle: Tilting Iron) screening in a custom-made couture gown by Schiaparelli.
The plunging ivory gown was an updated silhouette of the same style worn by Jane Birkin in 1969 and is said to have been hand-embroidered with trompe l'oeil lace by 130 artisans across 22,000 hours.
It also featured a black jewel embellishment just above her navel, corset lace detailing, and a tiered mermaid train.
On May 17, she attended the Garance screening in a custom Prada satin column gown in a pearlescent gray shade.
The dress featured a strapless bodice embellished with intricate beading, while the A-line skirt featured a mini train for a touch of drama. Bella layered the look with a matching wrap that draped off her shoulders and was cropped at the waist.
Despite opting for a more modest look earlier in the festival, Bella soon returned to her risqué roots, later stepping out in Cannes in an ensemble that fully embraced the naked-dressing trend.
The Orebella founder wore a sheer, tie-front long-sleeve top featuring a frilly collar from Australian vintage reseller, Preluvd.
The ivory-hued garment was embellished with silver sequins, exposing Bella's nude bra beneath, and the hem was adorned with beaded fringe.
Bella styled the blouse with a pair of camel flared cropped pants and accessorized with a gold pendant necklace, a brown Coach bag, Gucci tortoiseshell sunglasses, and Jimmy Choo heels.
In 2025, the Cannes Film Festival announced "explicit" dress code rules for stars to follow, prohibiting nudity and voluminous outfits.
"This year, the Cannes Film Festival has made explicit in its charter certain rules that have long been in effect," a statement from the festival read.
"The aim is not to regulate attire per se, but to prohibit full nudity on the red carpet, in accordance with the institutional framework of the event and French law."
The Cannes website dress code section now reads: "For decency reasons, nudity is prohibited on the red carpet, as well as in any other area of the festival.
"Voluminous outfits, in particular those with a large train, that hinder the proper flow of traffic of guests and complicate seating in the theatre are not permitted."
It added: "The festival welcoming teams will be obligated to prohibit red carpet access to anyone not respecting these rules."
