Jay-Z may have brought the star power to the New York City premiere of his new docuseries, but his wife Beyoncé certainly brought the glam, and then some!

The singer, 45, joined her rapper husband, 56, for the NYC premiere of his HBO docuseries JAŸ-Z In 8, in which he sits down with producer Rick Rubin to candidly discuss his life and career.

While the couple opted to skip the carpet altogether, with Beyoncé heading straight inside, she still managed to make a statement with her fit for the evening.

The "Break My Soul" hitmaker wore a gorgeous Elie Saab haute couture gown, a stunning black mesh dress covered in appliqués and sequins, paired with a nude corset underneath.

The dramatic look featured a stunner of a train that floated behind the singer, and was paired with sheer gloves. Beyoncé went with a natural glam and her gold locks were styled into bouncy waves.

Shared on social media by the fashion house, the look instantly wowed fans, who responded to it with comments like: "She looks like a goddess!" and: "She is everything," plus: "Absolutely stunning!!"

Several fans simply added flame emojis to the comments section, with one emphatically adding: "QUEEN BEY SLAYS PER USUAL!"

How Beyoncé "inspires" Jay-Z

While the big night was Jay-Z's, speaking with Extra TV at the premiere, the "99 Problems" rapper opened up about how it's his wife and longtime collaborator who has "inspired" him over the decades.

"I'm super inspired by her," he gushed. "She's a phenomenal producer and writer. And she's fearless, she tries all kinds of stuff. Some things she tries, I couldn't do. She'll be sitting in the back, hollering ad-libs."

While he admitted to being more "self-conscious" of his work, his wife won't let that get in her way. "I'll get in the way of myself, I'll get self-conscious about it. And she'll just try anything she feels in the moment."

"She's very adventurous. And her recall is amazing. She's an amazing producer. I think because she's such an extraordinary singer, people underrate the producer that she is. She's one of the best I've ever seen."

Having Beyoncé and Jay-Z's daughter follow in their footsteps

Jay-Z also spoke about seeing the couple's oldest daughter, 14-year-old Blue Ivy Carter, follow in their footsteps and make a name for herself in the public eye. And like any concerned parent, that comes with "nerves."

"I'm more nervous for her than I am for myself," he quipped. "But she's put in the work and she's a student. And she loves it, so just to watch her find her way is extraordinary."
