Khloé Kardashian revealed that she influenced her ex-partner Tristan Thomspon into getting a vasectomy. The reality star was joined by the NBA player during the May 28 episode of her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, with the pair opening up about the decision.
"Do you wanna have more kids in the future?" Khloé asked her former partner. "I think I signed off for two embryos," replied Tristan. "So, I mean, if I do have more kids, it'd be coming from you. I already have enough baby moms. Don't want no more."
Khloé and Tristan share two children together – daughter True, eight, and son Tatum, three. The NBA star is also a father to son Prince, nine, with Jordan Craig and son Theo, four, with Maralee Nichols.
"And who helped you fix that decision? That was me," Khloé said of Tristan's vasectomy. "Tristan may have had a little ultimatum from me."
"What? Getting neutered?" Tristan asked. "Sometimes you gotta lay them nuts on the table."
Tristan admitted that he was initially hesitant about the idea. "I've been a little hardheaded at times … I wish I wasn't as stubborn. Sometimes you have to get forced into the right decision," he explained.
The basketball champion shared that he legally signed over the rights to his embryos with Khloé. "You signed them over to me anyway, so I legally own them," she said. "No more kids, unless it's coming from Khloé's embryos," added Tristan.
However, Khloé explained that Tristan has another option should he meet a future partner. "We saved sperm because I said, 'What if you get married and your wife doesn't have kids, and you wanna do that?' " she shared. "So we did that. Because you could also reverse it."
"No. I'm not, no. I'm not laying down on that table again," replied Tristan.
Khloé co-parents with Tristan, who she dated on and off from 2016 to 2021, and is not currently publicly dating anyone. Speaking about the possibility of welcoming a third child on the February 18 episode of her podcast, Khloé candidly confessed: "I don't know if I have the bandwidth for a third."
"I'm also not married, and I want to be married to have more kids," she added. And while Khloé would love for True to experience sisterhood the way she did, she noted that True has plenty of cousins with whom she is "close like sisters."
