Dylan Dreyer has a loving family and is a doting mom to three young sons, who she shares with ex-husband Brian Fichera.

The Today star separated from Brian in 2025 following 12 years of marriage, and the pair have remained on good terms since.

In fact, it's not just the former couple who have remained close, but their extended family too. On June 1, Dylan shared a joyful family update on social media, which featured several photos of Brian's sister Nicole and her daughter Emma cheering on the star's sons during a sponsored run.

Nicole and Emma held up handmade signs for each of Dylan and Brian's children, and posed with them for photos following the race.

In the caption, Dylan wrote: "There are people in your life who go above and beyond to embarrass, I mean, show up for your kids and I love @nmredding and @emma.redding5 so much for doing exactly that this weekend!!"

Fans were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: "Family is the best, your boys are so cute," while another wrote: "Aww aunty Nicole and cousin Emma are the best." A third added: "You brought your own cheering section for your boys!! So great to have good people in your corner!"

Dylan has gone away with Nicole and Emma on several vacations, previously sharing photos of a holiday with Brian and his family following their separation.

Dylan and Brian got married in 2012, having met when both working at NBC in Boston. They often shared snippets of their family life on social media, and admitted back in 2022 that they usually kept in touch via text message during the week as a result of their busy schedules.

They announced their separation in July 2025. The star's statement at the time read: "For many years, I have shared my family with you all — the highs and lows, the ups and downs, and all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between.

"I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you've given me through it all. For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate."

"We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends. Most importantly, we will continue to co-parent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for one another," she added, before concluding: "Thank you as always for your support."

Last fall, Dylan and her sons moved out of their New York City apartment to relocate to Upstate New York, where they are currently renting a beautiful property.

The star recently reflected on the big change on her podcast, The Parent Chat. On June 4, she opened up about the change, and how her youngest son Rusty, four, had taken it particularly badly.

In the footage, she said: "Smile, it's our last video here!" as Rustly cried on the floor. "Did you like this house?" she asked her son, who replied, "Yeah." Dylan said: "This made me just bawl my eyes out," as she watched the clip back. "It was the first time I really looked at the different chapters in my life, and it kind of was all summed up in my kids' bedroom.

“It was just a really special time to look back and reflect on that because we just sold that apartment, and now, it was empty. And that room had seen so much, and now, we were moving on to a new adventure, a new chapter as a family."
