Amy Schumer is celebrating her 45th birthday in style. The comedian and actress shared a collection of candid photos from a recent gathering with friends, giving fans a glimpse into the festivities while showing off her toned legs in a playful co-ord set.
In one candid snap, Amy posed in matching blush-pink shorts and a puff-sleeve top, leaning dramatically against a Titanic poster while clutching a small handbag. Another image showed the Trainwreck star surrounded by close friends as they gathered for a celebratory dinner, while a sweet photo captured the moment a birthday cake was presented to her.
Alongside the carousel, Amy paid tribute to her inner circle and encouraged followers to check out one of Broadway's hottest shows.
"I love these friends to the moon and back," she wrote. "Also if you want to laugh for 90 minutes straight go see @titaniquemusical."
Amy has been open about her wellness journey in recent years and recently showcased her slimmer physique during a Mediterranean vacation with her son and friends. During the getaway, she shared photos of herself paddleboarding in crystal-clear waters while wearing a striking red swimsuit that highlighted her athletic figure.
The birthday celebration comes during a period of significant personal change for the star.
Last last year, Amy announced that she and husband Chris Fischer had ended their marriage after seven years together. The pair share son Gene and have remained committed to co-parenting following their split.
"We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son," Amy shared at the time, describing the separation as amicable.
The Life & Beth creator also joked that the breakup wasn't related to her weight loss, adding her trademark humour to the announcement.
In recent months, Amy has spoken candidly about improving her health and managing Cushing syndrome, a hormonal condition she revealed she had been diagnosed with. She has since shared positive updates with fans, explaining that lifestyle changes and treatment have helped her feel healthier and stronger.
"So I got these steroid injections, and so it gave me this thing called Cushing syndrome – which I wouldn't have known if the internet hadn't come for me so hard," she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
"I learned I had this condition, and that I had something called moon face, and I'm starring in a movie – and there's a camera right in my face, and I'm like, 'Oh, my God.' I was feeling really down on myself before I started filming this movie."
She also shared that her doctors settled on Mounjaro and hormone replacement therapy. "My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy… So that's been great, and Mounjaro's been great," she said in a social media video.
"And look, it's not covered by insurance unless you have diabetes or like severe obesity, which most of the internet thinks I have," she quipped. "But I'm having a really good experience with it, and I wanted to keep it real with you about that."
