Katherine Schwarzenegger is soaking up her boy mom era.
Though the BDA Baby podcast host became a stepmom to son Jack, 13, upon marrying husband Chris Pratt, their third child Ford, born in November 2025, is her first son with the Marvel star.
In addition to Ford, the 36-year-old and the Guardians of the Galaxy actor, who tied the knot in 2019, are also parents to daughters Lyla, five, and Eloise, three.
In a new post on Instagram last week, Katherine declared that she officially has a "velcro baby" on her hands, as Ford has completely become a mama's boy.
She first shared a photo of the tot laying on her as she carried him, and more photos of him hoisted on her hip, as well as other snaps of him walking around, his fast-growing, strawberry blonde hair on full display.
"I'm in my Velcro era and I love it," she wrote in her caption, and fans were quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over it.
"Ah that's the best era," one wrote, as others followed suit with: "The absolute best — and that hair!!!" and: "That's the best era! My son is the same way. I am enjoying it every moment I get," as well as: "Can see the love in your eyes mama. Nothing like it."
Katherine and Chris, who started dating in 2018 after they were reportedly set up by her mom Maria Shriver, are based between Montecito and Pacific Palisades, while they are building a new Brentwood home.
Last year, Katherine opened up about how she and Chris prepared for their marriage, and her becoming a stepmother to Jack, which included seeking help from a step-parenting coach. "It's been incredibly helpful for me and also just understanding my role as a step-parent," she said during an appearance with her husband on the Parenting & You With Dr. Shefali podcast.
"Step-parenting, like parenting, has no handbook. Because I have the benefit of being in both roles. Step-parenting is extra confusing because you aren’t a parent, you're not a nanny, you're not an assistant. You have responsibilities in all of those areas but you're not either of them," she added.
Chris also recently opened up about going to couple's counseling before tying the knot, more specifically the Catholic practice of Pre-Cana. Speaking with his good friend Rob Lowe on his podcast on SiriusXM, Literally! With Rob Lowe, Chris explained: "Part of getting married at St. Monica's church is doing premarital counseling," adding: "We did like, six sessions with this guy who was, by the way, the best thing in the world."
Chris shared how the priest directed them to essentially hash out potentially conflict-inducing conversations, even like when to start and stop celebrating Christmas. "It's like 300 potential landmines and [you can] diffuse them beforehand. And that way, if you have an issue, you talk about it and you hash it out," he said. "If you agree on it, you move on. But if there's things you disagree on, you hash it out and you do the work to figure out why are you coming from this [belief]?"
