Katherine Schwarzenegger and her family are soaking up the last few weeks of summer.

Though the BDA Baby podcast host is largely based in Los Angeles, her mother Maria Shriver's part of the family has deep roots in the Northeast, where the family appeared to be vacationing in new photos featuring her three kids.

The children's book author has been married to husband Chris Pratt since 2019, and they share daughters Lyla, six, and Eloise, three, son Ford, one, plus the Guardians of the Galaxy actor also shares son Jack, 13, with ex-wife Anna Faris.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Katherine first shared an adorable photo of her holding hands with her two daughters, who are pointing towards the beach.

She also shared a photo of her mom Maria with three of her four brothers, Anthony, Timothy, and Mark, suggesting they were all on vacation in the Kennedy family's famed compound in Hyannis Port, Cape Cod.

Other photos pictured Katherine's youngest , who has long blonde hair, her younger brother Christopher on the beach, and other brother Patrick posing with her husband Chris and uncle Timothy.

"Out east," Katherine wrote, and fans were quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over it.

"Cape Cod in August is really the best," one wrote, as others followed suit with: "The beautiful Kennedy Compound! Such rich history on the Cape! Beautiful location!" and: "Love everything about every photo," as well as: "Nothing beats Cape Cod hydrangeas!"

Katherine and Chris, who started dating in 2018 after they were reportedly set up by her mom Maria, are based between Montecito and , while they are building a new Brentwood home. Last year, Katherine opened up about how she and Chris prepared for their marriage, and her becoming a stepmother to Jack, which included seeking help from a step-parenting coach. "It's been incredibly helpful for me and also just understanding my role as a step-parent," she said during an appearance with her husband on the Parenting & You With Dr. Shefali podcast.

"Step-parenting, like parenting, has no handbook. Because I have the benefit of being in both roles. Step-parenting is extra confusing because you aren’t a parent, you're not a nanny, you're not an assistant. You have responsibilities in all of those areas but you're not either of them," she added.

Chris also recently opened up about going to couple's counseling before tying the knot, more specifically the Catholic practice of Pre-Cana. Speaking with his good friend Rob Lowe on his podcast on SiriusXM, Literally! With Rob Lowe, Chris explained: "Part of getting married at St. Monica's church is doing premarital counseling," adding: "We did like, six sessions with this guy who was, by the way, the best thing in the world."

Chris shared how the priest directed them to essentially hash out potentially conflict-inducing conversations, even like when to start and stop celebrating Christmas. "It's like 300 potential landmines and [you can] diffuse them beforehand. And that way, if you have an issue, you talk about it and you hash it out," he said. "If you agree on it, you move on. But if there's things you disagree on, you hash it out and you do the work to figure out why are you coming from this [belief]?"
