Jessica Alba shared an emotional social media tribute to her 18-year-old daughter, Honor Warren, for the teenager's milestone birthday on Monday. The actress posted a video compilation of some of Honor's sweetest moments leading up to her 18th birthday, set to the tune of The Beatles' "Blackbird".
"Happy 18th Birthday to my Honor," Jessica began in the caption. "My sweet girl, my brilliant girl, my shining light."
"As I reflect on the last 18 years, I can honestly say they have been the most profound of my life. You opened my heart and expanded my understanding of love in ways I never knew were possible," she continued.
"You have always lit up every room you enter. You are kind and considerate, yet feisty and witty. Your humor is quick, sharp, and unexpected. You are wildly intelligent, endlessly curious, and I could not be more proud of the young woman you have become."
The Fantastic Four star added that she was excited to watch Honor fly the nest and attend university. "As you step into adulthood, part of me wants to hold you close forever and keep you safe," she wrote.
"But an even bigger part wants to watch you fly – to explore this world and discover everything that calls to your soul. And through it all, I will always be here. Whether you need comforting when you're sick, a hug, or miss home, I'll jump on a plane to see you – I'm here. Always."
Jessica concluded the message: "It has been the greatest gift being your mama – thank you for choosing me, baby girl. Happy 18th Birthday, Honorcita. I love you beyond words." Honor took to the comment section to share the love, writing: "Awwww mommy," alongside several heart emojis.
Honor will attend Yale University in the fall, where she will study English and Film, and follow in the footsteps of her father, Cash Warren. Cash and Jessica were married for 16 years and welcomed Honor, 18, Haven, 14, and Hayes, eight, before their split in January 2025.
The couple finalized their divorce in March 2026, and the mom of three moved on with Marvel actor Danny Ramirez. The pair have been linked since May 2025 and confirmed their relationship in November, when they attended the Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Cash expressed his support for Honor's next step in an Instagram tribute, writing: "You have no idea how special it is for me to watch you follow my path to Yale."
"On the brink of 18, you have already created a new legacy for our family," he continued. "I have no idea what your future holds, but I cannot wait to watch the movie unfold. I'm buying my popcorn now, and I'll be front row center cheering you on."
Jessica and Cash were both in attendance at Honor's graduation ceremony in May, yet were not pictured together.
