Today Show host Sheinelle Jones gave fans a glimpse into her summer swimwear agenda with a stunning selfie. The news anchor took to Instagram on June 15 to share a life roundup with a carousel of photographs.
The first snap captured Sheinelle posing on a boat in the ocean, wearing a black swimsuit featuring a sleeveless design with spaghetti straps and a plunging neckline. The NBC star accessorized with oversized sunglasses and a pair of dainty gold hoop earrings.
"My friend told me I was overdue for a check - in … so I figured I’d just share some of the recent pics on my phone… kind of a snap shot at life lately," Sheinelle penned in the caption. "From the sidelines at games, to the beach, book tour, and the office. It feels like the last few months have been some of the *best* of times, with some hard moments in between; perhaps that’s the new normal. For anyone in this first year or so of grief … I just want you to know that I see you, and I hope you see me too. We can and must still have beautiful days filled with new wins, joy and hopefully peace that passes all understanding. Love you guys."
Another photograph shows Sheinelle dressed in a floral white dress during her book tour. Sheinelle released her debut book, Through Mom's Eyes, on April 14. The concept of the book, a collection of stories and lessons from the mothers of the likes of Lady Gaga, Stephen Curry, the Williams sisters, Matthew McConaughey and more, was first crafted in 2020, but ultimately delayed after the author's husband Uche Ojeh's fatal cancer battle.
Sheinelle Jones' workout routine
Sheinelle's flawless figure is courtesy of her active lifestyle. Back in 2023, she ran the New York City marathon. "I want to prove that just the average girl, we can do it," she said on Today at the time. "I am 4'11. I am not a model. I'm not a runner, but we can do this!"
When asked how she stayed motivated during the 20 miles run, she opened up about the challenge. "I think you constantly have to remember your reason why. I also have to keep remembering that we’re pouring into ourselves. If not now, when?" she said.
The television star also opened up about the experience to Women's Health. "I really believe in squeezing the most we can out of life, whether that means challenging ourselves, being present with family and friends, or elevating our health and wellness. I'm really trying to be the best person I can be," she said.
"Running a full marathon in such an amazing city to me sounds extremely difficult and—if I can get over that mountain – extremely rewarding. I can't hire a babysitter to help me out with it or let somebody else take the load. It's all on me."
