Millie Bobby Brown opened up about Jon Bon Jovi's sweet relationship with her daughter in a new interview. The actress appeared on the June 25 episode of the Today Showto promote the third movie in the Enola Holmes franchise.
"You've got a new baby, how's parenthood treating you?" asked Savannah Guthrie. "Oh my gosh, amazing. As you know, like it's just the best joy ever and we're just so lucky. She is hilarious. I think she's becoming more and more like me every day."
The NBC host then asked Millie about Jon's role as a grandfather. "Your father-in-law is Jon Bon Jovi. I interviewed him when he announced his residency at The Garden and he was like, 'This baby is probably never going to have to walk because I carry her everywhere,'" said Savannah.
© Getty Images"She doesn't," replied Millie. "What's he like? How is he as a grandfather?" asked Savannah. "They just had her the other day and they went to Target and got a cart full of things for her. And he's always on the floor crawling around with her die laughing and videoing every new thing she does. He's the best and so is Dorothea, my amazing mother-in-law. They are the most present grandparents and we couldn't be luckier to have them in her life."

Millie and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, adopted their baby in 2025 and shared the happy news in a statement in August. "This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy," they wrote.

For me, it's really important to protect her and her story until she's old enough to potentially one day share it herself," she explained.
"It's not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that's something we'd support. But right now, as she's so little…As her parents, it's our job to protect her from that."
