Michelle and Barack Obama left their fans "blushing" when they discussed their perfect date night at the "sexy" new Obama Presidential Center in Chicago.
The 19.3-acre campus opened to the public on June 19, 2026, and features a museum, which shares the story of Barack and Michelle's "historic presidency, and stories of people and events that influenced their continued legacy."
It also boasts public spaces, a new library, a basketball court, and dining options.
In a new video Michelle shared, which you can watch above, the couple agrees that the center would have been the perfect location for them to go on a date.
"Oh, this would've been THE date," Michelle said as Barack laughed. "I mean, this would've been like 'Oh, this dude is cool.'"
Michelle then described the presidential center as a "sexy environment," adding: "This is a date vibe."
© Getty ImagesShe then pointed out the textile installation by Nick Cave and Marie Watt and artwork by Mark Bradford, before suggesting couples could get a drink and "a beautiful meal" at Tafari's Kitchen, "because that space is so elegant."
"And there are those comfy sofas after you've had a date, and then you put your arm around your date, and then we talk about life, and it gives you a chance to see if your date knows anything about the world," she added, looking at her husband who enthusiastically agreed.

Captioning the video, which also tagged Barack and the Obama Foundation, Michelle wrote: "Barack and I went to a museum on our first date. So take it from us: the Obama Presidential Center campus has just the right vibe for you and your boo."
