Britney Spears couldn't have been prouder of her two sons, Jayden and Sean Preston Federline, as the pair made their modeling debut on June 26 at the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show at Paris Fashion Week. While the "Circus" singer opted not to show support online for her boys after their big day, Jayden and Sean Preston later revealed to Vogue that she was there for them every step of the way.
"She wasn't there with us, but she sent us flowers to our hotel as a good luck thing, and called and texted us so many times," Jayden shared. "It was good to have that and to carry that with us before we went out there."
"Oh my god, she was so nervous for us," he continued. "She was just looking out for us and making sure that this was what we wanted to do." When asked if Britney had any tips for her sons before they hit the catwalk, the 19-year-old replied: "I feel like she knew we had it. She was like, 'Yeah, you guys are my sons. You've got this.'"
Sean Preston, 20, then explained how the opportunity arose for them to make their modeling debut in Paris. "The creative director reached out to Jayden and me, I guess, from seeing photos of us on the internet, and invited us to walk the show," he recalled.
"Initially, we were supposed to just be invited to watch the show, but then he came up with the decision to let us walk. We get offered an opportunity like that and Jayden and I were like, 'Hell yeah – this is so sick.'"
Jayden added that he couldn't have walked the runway without his brother's support. "Right before we were about to walk out, I remember Preston and I just looking at each other and nodding our heads, because we weren't close enough to give each other a pep talk," he said. "I would've been really, really messed up if Preston wasn't doing it with me."
As for whether the boys will pursue a modeling career after their first catwalk, Jayden shared that they were more interested in music than fashion.
"I don't know if it's something that I'm super passionate about, but I know I had a lot of fun doing it," Sean Preston shared. "Music is the foundation of everything for me. Jayden and I have done music our whole lives, and we definitely gravitate towards that more than anything else."
Sean Preston and Jayden, whom Britney welcomed with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, have been supporting their mother after she was voluntarily admitted to a rehabilitation facility in March following a DUI incident.
"This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable," her representative shared in a statement at the time. "Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law, and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney's life."
"Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time. Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue, needed plan to set her up for success for her well-being."
