Britney Spears may have bowed out of the entertainment industry for now, but her sons are just taking center stage.
The Grammy-winning singer, 44, shares sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, with ex-husband Kevin Federline. While reports of a rift between mother and sons circulated for years in the midst of her conservatorship, in recent days, it has become clear that they've grown extremely close.
Plus, as Sean and Jayden grow older and enter the public eye like their parents before them, they're making the most of brand new opportunities too!
Sean and Jayden's big break
On Friday, June 26, Sean and Jayden made their runway debuts for Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 runway show as part of Paris Fashion Week.
Sean, in his public debut as an adult, wore a black oversized satin trench with a long black silk button down underneath, paired with a matching tie, baggy jeans and leather dress shoes.
Younger Jayden, meanwhile, was styled in a white vest with jeans, accessorized with chains and a chunky brown belt. This isn't the teen's first foray into the fashion world either, attending the Dior 2027 Cruise collection fashion show at the LACMA in Los Angeles back in May as well.
The Spears family shows their support
Jayden celebrated the moment on his Instagram page with a snap from the show, plus some others documenting his trip to Paris, captioning them: "Thank you so much @gvasalia for having me walk your INSANE fashion show for @vetements_official."
"I will forever be grateful for this incredible opportunity," he continued. "It was an honor to walk alongside such an incredible group of models. Thank you to everyone who made this such an amazing experience."
While Britney herself didn't publicly react to the news, nor did dad Kevin, his aunt Jamie Lynn Spears liked the post, while his cousin, Jamie Lynn's 18-year-old daughter Maddie, sweetly commented: "So proud of you." Maddie also shared a side-by-side photo of her cousins walking the runway and added "So proud" beside it with a pair of heart emojis.
How Jayden and Sean are supporting Britney
Back in March, the pop star was arrested and charged with a DUI, after which she was voluntarily admitted to a rehabilitation facility. In a statement shared with HELLO!, her rep confirmed that Britney's sons will step in to help as well. "This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable."
"Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney's life," the statement read. "Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time."
"Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being."
