Kate Hudson may have showcased her enviably toned physique during her latest Greek getaway, but it was her playful holiday challenge that stole the spotlight.
The 47-year-old actress delighted fans by sharing a sun-soaked Instagram Reel from the idyllic island of Skiathos, where she swapped red carpets for beach days with fiancé Danny Fujikawa and her family.
Wearing a striking fire-engine red bandeau bikini with matching bottoms, Kate looked radiant as she balanced a bottle of Campari on her head while striking a playful pose, proving that she's just as happy embracing life's lighter moments as she is showing off her famous figure.
The Oscar nominee appeared fresh-faced for the family beach day, wearing her blonde hair swept into a relaxed topknot and opting for a makeup-free look that perfectly suited the laid-back Mediterranean setting.
A family affair
Kate's video offered fans a rare glimpse into her family holiday, with cameos from her seven-year-old daughter Rani Rose and eldest son Ryder Robinson.
Little Rani proudly showed off a croissant to the camera, while Ryder, 22, was seen lifting his girlfriend, Piper Lacy, onto his shoulders as the group laughed together by the sea.
Kate was also joined by her youngest son, 14-year-old Bingham Bellamy, and fiancé Danny Fujikawa as the family soaked up the sunshine at what appeared to be a private beachfront villa overlooking crystal-clear turquoise waters.
The actress captioned the post with nothing more than a croissant, cocktail and book emoji, while setting the video to Drake's track Shabang.
Among those tagged was Lena Dunham, although the Girls creator wasn't actually on the trip. Instead, Kate appeared to be enjoying Lena's recently released memoir, Famesick, while relaxing by the water.
More than just another bikini moment
While fans are no strangers to seeing Kate looking sensational in swimwear, this latest post felt less like a glamorous photoshoot and more like an authentic snapshot of family life.
Rather than focusing solely on beach fashion, the actress highlighted the simple pleasures of summer: reading, cocktails, laughter and spending quality time with loved ones.
The Reel follows another series of holiday snaps Kate shared earlier this week, including photographs of herself enjoying a boat trip around Skiathos, embracing Bingham on deck and posing with her family during a sunset dinner overlooking the sea.
The secret behind her incredible physique
Kate has long been open about the lifestyle habits that help her stay feeling strong, insisting that her focus has always been on movement rather than appearance.
"I need to be moving to feel good," she previously told People, explaining that even on busy days she makes time for some form of exercise.
Whether it's Pilates, hot yoga, walking, hiking or cycling, Kate says consistency matters more than intensity.
"I really enjoy sweating it out, and it helps me clear my mind," she said. "It's not just about trying to look good physically, it's important to get oxygen to my brain and feel like my blood is really circulating."
She's equally relaxed when it comes to food, rejecting quick-fix diets in favour of sustainable habits.
"Getting healthy is not a two-week process," Kate explained. "It's a change of lifestyle."
