Kate Hudson is soaking up the sun during her Mediterranean getaway this month. The actress took to Instagram on July 6 to share a glimpse into her dreamy family vacation to Skíathos, Magnisia, Greece – and we're obsessed with her bikini agenda.
The first photo in Kate's Instagram carousel showed her posing aboard a boat in a tiny black bikini. The swimwear featured a classic triangle top paired with matching tie-side bottoms, highlighting her sculpted abs as she prepared to take a dip in the ocean.
The star's luscious blonde locks were left down in beachy waves and she opted for a glowing makeup-free complexion. "My happy place," she penned in the caption.
Further pictures showed special moments throughout the day. One image captured Kate posing in the same bikini on the boat next to her daughter, Rani. There were also pictures from the evening, with Kate flaunting her chic sartorial agenda.
For dinner, the actress wore a black silk cami top that was adorned with intricate lace detailing. The garment was styled with an olive-green silk skirt.
The 47-year-old welcomed her first child, son Ryder, with her ex-husband Chris Robinson in 2004. In 2011, she and her former fiancé, Matt Bellamy, welcomed their son Bingham. Seven years later, she and her fiancé Danny Fujikawa celebrated the arrival of their first daughter, Rani.
Kate's secret to her toned figure through diet and fitness
Kate has previously opened up about her fitness regime in an interview with People. "I need to be moving to feel good," she said. "Even just making time for a little movement every day — going for a walk, doing a few minutes on the treadmill, some Pilates, or if I have more time for it, I love hot yoga."
The actress also enjoys the mental benefits of exercising regularly. "I really enjoy sweating it out, and it helps me clear my mind. It’s not just about trying to look good physically, it’s important to get oxygen to my brain and feel like my blood is really circulating. I love skiing, walking, hiking and especially riding my bike. It makes me feel like a kid again!."
However, she said that dieting "puts so much pressure on people to lose weight quickly". "Getting healthy is not a two-week process, it’s a change of lifestyle," she explained.
Kate's fitness routine includes strength training and is guided by her personal trainer, Brian Nguyen. "One day, I tuned in and I was like ... I don’t feel strong, I feel long and I love my Pilates but as I get older... am I doing enough (strength) exercises?," she told TODAY.
