Kyra Sedgwick will take any opportunity to turn work into a family affair.
The The Summer I Turned Pretty actress has been married to fellow actor Kevin Bacon since 1988, and they are parents to son Travis, 37, and daughter Sosie, 34.
The family recently all starred in the aptly-named comedy horror film Family Movie, and have continued their red carpet outings together with the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic.
Following Kyra and Kevin's travels with their son Travis and his girlfriend Angelina Sambrotto, Kyra took to Instagram and shared a slew of photos from their time together in Karlovy Vary. She first shared a photo of the four all glammed up for the festival, followed by several snaps of the family doing some touristing.
"Dobrý den, @kviff!" Kyra wrote in the caption, "Good morning," in Czech, adding: "Thanks for having us. We're so inspired by all the filmmakers and your lovely city. Until next time."
Fans were then quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over it, with one writing: "Look at you guys. Just fabulous!" as others followed suit with: "Love your family!! You guys are gorgeous and hilarious at the same time," and: "You have a beautiful family. Thanks for sharing your adventures," as well as: "What a beautiful family."
The fittingly-titled Family Movie, which premiered in March, follows a filmmaking family who finds themselves in a real-life horror movie when a body turns up on the set of their low-budget slasher, forcing them to cover up the murder to keep filming.
Kyra, speaking with the rest of her family with Entertainment Tonight, about how the project came to be, shared: "I don't think that we were necessarily looking for something to do together," and that in fact, she was "nervous" to pitch it to Sosie and Travis, and later surprised by their enthusiasm.
"We pitched it to the kids, thinking that they probably wouldn't be into it," she said, adding: "I was so nervous. And they actually said yes. I was like, 'Wait, what? You wanna work with your parents?' It was pretty monumental."
"Oh, I had reservations for sure," Sosie did admit, noting: "I think we all were concerned that things would come up, we would get into arguments…little tensions and stuff would arise. In this situation, because we're on set, tensions are already really high."
However, she next shared: "It ended up being the opposite. Like, we had no tension. We were so collaborative. And I don't think any of us expected that going into it, how easy it was, and how nice everybody was to each other."
"It felt extremely collaborative and like everybody's voices were heard. It was magical," her brother Travis concurred.
