Mindy Kaling gave us fashion envy during her latest outing by rocking an incredible dress that highlighted her slimmed-down physique.
The 47-year-old has admitted that she is more "confident" in her body following her 40lbs weight loss transformation – and it certainly translates with her wardrobe choices.
Mindy looked incredible when she stepped out on Monday, July 13, for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! wearing a figure-hugging strapless dress that showcased her tiny waist and toned arms.
The actress added sky-high strappy stilettos that elongated her toned legs and petite frame and went very glam with her hair and makeup.
Mindy's transformation hasn't gone unnoticed, but while she finds the interest "flattering," it can also be overwhelming at times.
"I'm feeling really confident in my body these days, which is not something that I've been able to say for my whole life, unfortunately," she previously told People. "I feel great.
"I know people are really interested in my body and the changes in my body, and I think it's flattering, and sometimes it's just a little much, so I don't try to tune it in too much. The truth is that I spend so much time and energy trying to be healthy."
Mindy touched on her weight loss again in May and said she was spurred on to change her lifestyle because she needed to "live at least 20 more years" for the sake of her three young children, Kit, Spencer and Anne.
"Now I want to lose weight or have lost weight because I want to stave off things like diabetes. I had it on both sides of my family, and trying to avoid those kinds of things will, I think, help longevity for me, and that's my goal," she explained to Bustle.
"Do I wake up every day being like, 'I look amazing, and I'm so gorgeous'? No, unsurprisingly, but I truly feel so healthy."
Mindy's weight loss secrets include a 20-mile run or hike each week and weightlifting with her trainer.
"It's really a big commitment," she admitted. "I basically live in workout clothes so I can get it in, get an extra mile in.
"I just tell myself I have to do basically 20 miles a week of either hiking or running. And so that's been incredibly helpful to me," she added.
Mindy shared on the Today show earlier this year that dieting never worked for her because she found limiting certain foods too restrictive.
"I used to be the person that was like, 'I have to stop eating this food or six weeks beforehand I'm only going to juice,'" she said, adding that the diet would only work "30 percent of the time" and "70 percent of the time [she] couldn't stick to it."
"I am never going to stop being a foodie. I'm never going to be someone who can just have spinach and salmon every single day."
She echoed those sentiments in April 2022 when she said that she eats "what I like," she just focuses on consuming "less of it."
"Honestly, I didn't really do anything differently," she told Entertainment Tonight. "I eat what I like to eat. If I do any kind of restrictive diet, it never really works for me. I just eat less of it."
