Erin Murphy has left fans amazed with her latest social media update. The Bewitched star, who captured hearts as the adorable Tabitha Stephens in the beloved 1960s sitcom, shared a glamorous car selfie that showcased just how much she's changed since her days as television's favourite little witch.

The 62-year-old looked radiant as she posed in a cream-coloured gown accessorised with gold pearl jewellery, captioning the snap: "Feeling fancy."

While fans will always remember Erin as the blonde-haired youngster who inherited magical powers from her on-screen mother Samantha Stephens, the actress has continued to delight followers with regular glimpses into her life more than five decades after the series ended.

From child star to timeless beauty

Erin was just a baby when she first took on the role of Tabitha Stephens, playing Samantha and Darrin Stephens' daughter from 1966 until Bewitched concluded in 1972.

The sitcom followed witch Samantha Stephens, played by the late Elizabeth Montgomery, as she attempted to live an ordinary suburban life with her mortal husband, Darrin. Their daughter Tabitha soon revealed she had inherited her mother's magical abilities, often casting spells that left her bewildered father scrambling to restore order.

Tabitha quickly became one of television's most recognisable child characters, helping to cement Bewitched as one of the defining sitcoms of its era.

Would she return?

Although decades have passed since she last twitched her nose on screen, Erin has revealed she'd happily step back into the magical world of Bewitched if given the opportunity.

"If they asked me to appear on the show, absolutely I would!" she told New Idea.

"I'd love to be included in some way, and I know fans of the original Bewitched would enjoy that fun reference to the past."

Her comments come as excitement continues to build around a planned television reboot of the classic series.

A new generation of magic

Last year, Deadline reported that a one-hour reimagining of Bewitched is currently in development.

Rather than simply recreating the original sitcom, the new series is expected to tell the story of Samantha and Darrin falling in love at first sight before navigating disapproving parents, cultural clashes and the challenges of bringing together two very different worlds.
