Jennifer Garner, 54, shared a throwback photo to her Instagram story on Monday, July 27 which proved she was always destined to be a star. The Five-Star Weekend actress posted a childhood snap of herself in white, long-sleeved pajamas licking a popsicle with the caption: "A childhood photo that could be an album cover."
In it, Jennifer's hair was long and brunette and she wore a sly smile as she looked to the side. The Alias actress was born in Texas, but moved to Charleston, West Virginia when she was three-years-old with her two sisters, Melissa and Susannah.

The throwback photo proved Jennifer's genes are strong. She looked just like her oldest daughter, Violet Affleck, when she was a little girl. The now 20-year-old is a student at Yale University and shares striking similarities to her mother.

Although their relationship ended in 2018, the two remain friends and active co-parents for their children, ensuring they are brought up with their privacy intact.
Jennifer Garner's interesting relationship with the paparazzi
During a recent interview on the July 21 episode of Evan Ross Katz's podcast, Shut Up Evan, Jennifer opened up about how hard it was to raise her children under the close watch of the paparazzi. Her childhood in West Virginia, where she could enjoy a popsicle in peace, was much different than that of her kids.
© Getty Images"I have two [paparazzi photographers] every day who've been assigned to me for 20-plus years, 25 years," Jennifer said. "It's really interesting. I have a very interesting relationship with my main guy…We have an odd respect for each other. We've had some really real-life moments together."
The actress went on: "I was followed by someone who, for whatever reason, I thought was going to hurt me, and I ran to him because I knew him and trusted him, and I knew that he and I would be OK."
© Getty ImagesBut, Jennifer continued: "There's kind of a Stockholm Syndrome kind of thing. And at the same time, I've called the cops on him a million times, and been like, 'Can you please just give me a walk around the block with my kids and my dog?'"
Like many other Hollywood parents looking to preserve the innocence of their children's lives, Jennifer is an advocate for public safety laws in California. In 2013, she joined Halle Berry and testified at a California State Assembly Committee on Public Safety hearing to support a bill that would penalize taking photos of children without permission, which was signed into law in September 2013.
