Meet Molly Ringwald's two siblings - including actress sister who appeared in Sixteen Candles

Born in California on 27 October 1964, Beth Ringwald proved that the family's acting talent didn't all go to sister Molly. She worked alongside her sister as Patty in Sixteen Candles and also received credits in Fatal Vision and Crash Island.

Beth is clearly close to her famous sister, sharing a sweet snapshot of the two enjoying time together with the caption: "Sister bonding time!" She married her high school sweetheart Paul Carnes in 2004.

Kelly Ringwald is Molly's only living brother. Unlike his two sisters who were drawn to Hollywood, Molly's brother, Kelly, has stayed far away from the spotlight, and very little is known about his personal life. 

Molly, Beth and Kelly were welcomed by parents Robert Ringwald and Adele Edith Frembd. Robert worked successfully as a jazz pianist despite being blind, while her mother, Adele, worked as a cook.

Molly was close to both of her parents, and often shares photos to mark special occasions, thanking her mother and father. She posted a shot of herself as a toddler with dad Robert, calling Father's Day "bittersweet" and another celebrating her close bond with Adele on Mother's Day. 

A part of the famed Brat Pack, Molly Ringwald is still beloved as one of the '80s most iconic actors with credits in coming-of-age classics like Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink.

More modern star roles include teen rom-com The Kissing Booth, Riverdale and a memorable cameo in TV drama The Bear.

Molly herself is now a mother of three, welcoming Mathilda, Adele and Roman with writer husband Panio Gianopoulos. 

Panio is Molly's second husband, and the pair tied the knot in 2007. The couple met in the early 2000s on an online literary group and exchanged emails back and forth before agreeing to meet.
