Meet Punky Brewster star Soleil Moon Frye's 4 children — including daughter who is her double

The actress married film producer Jason Goldberg in 1998 and renewed their vows a decade later in October 2008 at their home in Hollywood Hills.

The couple were married for 22 years and separated in December 2020. Two years later, their divorce was finalised. During their marriage, they welcomed four children: Poet, Jagger, Lyric and Story.

Soleil welcomed her oldest child, daughter Poet Sienna Rose, on 24 August 2005. According to her mother, Poet was already an "amazing public speaker" at 13 years old, a skill that foretold her move into politics. 

In 2022, Poet organised an anti-gun violence rally and her famous mother couldn't have been prouder. She wrote on Instagram: "To my children who are making their voices heard and to my incredible @poet_siennarose who put together her first protest to speak out and be heard. I am so in awe of you and the activism, courage, and strength that you have.”

Second daughter, lookalike Jagger Joseph Blue, was born on 17 March, 2008. At 10 years old, it seemed Jagger was incredibly keen to follow in her mother's footsteps. "I keep telling her, ‘Okay, just a little longer, we’ll see.’ But she is yearning in every way," Soleil explained.

Now, it looks as though she's set for a star career behind the camera, directing her first music video in June 2024 and also creating the short film Fake Identity the same year.

The couple's first son, Lyric Sonny Roads, was born on 10 February 2014. She told People "I'm excited to be able to raise him in a household of girls, and teach him to be a gentleman at an early age."

She marked his 10th birthday in 2024 with a video of Lyric trying to stay awake to see in the exact time of his birth, writing: “Lyric you are a pure dream. Thank you for making our lives so special and full of love. The world is so much brighter and more beautiful with you in it ... I am so truly honored and in humble gratitude to be your mama."

Born on 16 May, 2016, Story Indigo Moon is the youngest of the Frye-Goldberg family. She explained their decision to opt for another unique name just after her son's arrival. 

The actress told People: “We are a family of unique names. I loved having a name that was different as a kid. We started with our Poet and now our Story feels complete.”

Soleil was cast as sitcom star Penelope 'Punky' Brewster at just seven years old, working on the show between 1984 and 1988. 

She later appeared in Sabrina the Teenage Witch and starred in the 2021 Punky Brewster revival series, reprising her '80s character.

Soleil's star power certainly didn't finish up in the '80s. The actress is still working today and is best known for projects like her '00s role in Sabrina the Teenage Witch and voicing Bratz icon Jade in several instalments of the franchise.

Most recently, she's worked as a voice actor on animated series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder and appeared in an episode of hit series Hacks.
