It seems Michelle Pfeiffer may be ready to leave Hollywood behind for good. During a recent interview, the 68-year-old that following the success of her two recent television projects, The Madison and Margo's Got Money Troubles, she is ready to move away from leading film roles.
"I never want to star in another movie, I swear to God," she said during The Hollywood Reporter's THR x Apple TV's Leading the Narrative: The Women of Apple TV event on August 2.
"I only want to do ensemble pieces. It's so much more fun, I love it so much. I've just been so bowled over by the female performances on television and honestly, they're just really owning TV."

The eight-parter is created by multi-Emmy Award-winner David E. Kelley, and stars Michelle alongside Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman, and Nick Offerman.
The series, which is produced by A24, is described as a "bold, heartwarming, and comedic family drama" that follows recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo, who is the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress and ex-pro wrestler.
The Madison
The series was billed as a "profound love story channeled through a deeply personal family drama about resilience and transformation" and examines "the ties that bind families together". It focuses on the Clyburn family, led by matriarch Stacy, as they relocate from New York City to the Madison River valley of central Montana following a devastating plane crash that kills her husband, Preston.
The synopsis reads: "The Madison unfolds across two distinct worlds — the beautiful landscape of Montana and the vibrant energy of Manhattan — as it examines the ties that bind families together."
Michelle Pfeiffer's family life and kids
Away from the spotlight, the actress is a doting mom to her daughter Claudia Rose Pfeiffer and her son John Henry Kelley. Michelle and her husband, David Kelley, married in November 1993 and welcomed their son, John Henry, in 1994. The couple had only been dating for two months when Michelle adopted her daughter, Claudia.

Alongside her acting work, Michelle founded a fragrance line, Henry Rose. The brand, which was founded in 2019, only uses clean ingredients and has even branched out into body creams, candles, and diffusers. The name is a sweet nod to Michelle's two kids, with Henry Rose blending both her son and daughter's middle names.
