Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman pleasantly shocked audience members recently with a memorable loved-up relationship first.
The couple, who have been linked together since early 2025, made August 5 a night to remember at the Ogunquit Playhouse.
The pair previously performed on Broadway in a revival of Music Man from 2021 to 2023, which was when they first became friends, and made an epic return to the stage together.
On August 5, Sutton arrived on stage and shortly after, took everyone by surprise when she invited Hugh to join her.
Not only did he make an appearance but the duo sang a duet together.
The Ogunquit Playhouse shared a sweet photo online featured the two, with the caption: "In a surprise that brought the audience straight to their feet, [Sutton] Foster welcomed fellow Tony winner Hugh Jackman to the stage for an unforgettable duet—marking their very first live concert performance together since sharing the Broadway stage in The Music Man!"
Fans absolutely loved the unexpected collaboration and flocked to the comments to cheer them on.
One person wrote: "So honored to have captured this for @ogunquitplayhouse and still pinching myself that I was able to hear in person 'A Million Dreams' in real time!!! I'll never forget that moment!!"
A second follower continued: "They're both SO talented and sweet! Match made in heaven."
A third fan added: "Lovely to see these two singing on stage together again!!!"
One commenter hopes to see them take the stage together again very soon, and they wrote: "Amazing duet. Envisioning a wonderful opportunity for these two next Summer, the @ogunquitplayhouse would be SOLD OUT!!"
On top of the jaw-dropping performance, the Ogunquit Playhouse had a massively successful night and further expressed in the post's caption: "Oh, what a night! Ogunquit Playhouse raised an extraordinary $3M+ at Monday night's sold-out Gala Benefit in support of the theater's Next Century Campaign."
