Deborra-Lee Furness appeared to make a dig at her ex-husband, Hugh Jackman, following his controversial Met Gala appearance with his girlfriend, Sutton Foster.
The 70-year-old actress left a telling comment while responding to Scandal star Kerry Washington's promotional post about her new TV series, Imperfect Woman.
"Eleanor core #ImperfectWomen episode 5 is out NOW. And you cannot trust ANYBODY…EVER," Kerry captioned a clip on her Instagram.
Deborra-Lee wholeheartedly agreed with Kerry's statement, cryptically commenting: "HILARIOUS... so true," which echoed her previous comments alluding to "betrayal" in her and Hugh's marriage.
Deborra-Lee's reaction, which was met with dozens of thumbs-up emojis from fans, comes shortly after Hugh sparked controversy for attending the Met Gala on May 4 with his new girlfriend.
Their loved-up appearance was seen as a "final blow" to Deborra-Lee, who attended the glitzy event with Hugh several times following their Met Gala debut in 2004.
The Wolverine star, who last attended the event solo in 2024 following his split from Deborra-Lee in September 2023, was branded "disrespectful" by fans on social media.
"Thumbs down! It's forever team Debbie over here!!" one person remarked. A second said: "I lost big respect for him." A third added: "Poor Deborra."
There were, however, some fans on the couple's side, with others claiming it's time people "get over" his split from Deborra-Lee.
Deborra-Lee broke her silence on her split from Hugh last year after filing for divorce in New York City on May 23.
"My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal," she told the Daily Mail. "It's a profound wound that cuts deep, however, I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us."
She continued: "This belief has helped me navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage. I have gained much knowledge and wisdom through this experience. Even when we are presented with apparent adversity, it is leading us to our greatest good, our true purpose.
"It can hurt, but in the long run, returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values and boundaries is liberation and freedom."
Hugh and Deborra-Lee, who share two children, Oscar and Ava, shocked the world when they announced their split via a statement to People in 2023.
"We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth," they shared.
"Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives."
Hugh is now dating Younger actress Sutton. They confirmed their relationship on January 6, 2025, and made their red carpet debut back in October at the Song Sung Blue premiere during AFI Fest, held at the TCL Chinese Theatre.
