Princess Catherine has some specific pub favourites
It wasn't quite rags to riches, but Princess Catherine is certainly the royal family's modern day Cinderella. Her favourite foods, then, are suitably down-to-earth with Berkshire pub The Old Boot Inn getting a shoutout.
The pub's sticky toffee pudding is said to be a particular favourite, with head chef Rody Warot attending their wedding and revealing Kate is also a big fan of their pâté on toasted brioche and roasted figs with Parma Ham.

Former royal chef Darren McGrady revealed that the boys shared a love of "comfort food", particularly "banana flan, anything with banana really, banana ice cream". Darren also previously recalled the moment Princess Diana changed lunch plans for something decidedly normal.
“I remember the Princess came into the kitchen one day and said, ‘Cancel lunch for the boys I’m taking them out, we’re going to McDonald’s,’” he explained. “‘And I said, ‘Oh my god your royal highness, I can do that, I can do burgers.’” But it was really the toy that the boys wanted – a little out of Darren's remit!

It's well-known that King Charles loves all things natural, from a splash of honey in his tea to his own line of organic biscuits. But Prince Harry provided some insider information on the King's eating habits in his memoir Spare.
Harry explained that his father is particularly fond of crackers with spread and shredded basil. He wrote, "We came to a round table laid with a white cloth. Beside it stood a trolley with tea: honey cake, flapjacks, sandwiches, warm crumpets, crackers with some creamy spread, shredded basil - Pa's favourite."

For Queen Camilla, there's no better snack than fresh peas
Picking blackberries on the way to school or grabbing a plum on a walk through the woods is about as idyllic as it gets, and Queen Camilla is no stranger to the simple joys of freshly picked produce.
In 2013, she told students at a Slough school, " “I tell you what I really like – eating peas straight from the garden. If you take them straight from the pod, they are delicious and really sweet. I take all my grandchildren down to the garden and they spend hours and hours eating peas."

We can't know exactly what the royal corgis would pick as their favourite food, no doubt steak and slippers would star on the ranking, but we do know what these beloved members of the family were served up.
Former royal chef Darren McGrady has reported that the late Queen Elizabeth II's beloved pets were fed on foods like cabbage, liver and rice.
