Jane Birkin
Jane Birkin became a certified sex icon thanks to a star role in Je T'aime... Moi Non Plus, named after her controversial 1968 single, as a waitress who catches the attention of a passing truck driver.
Since then, she cemented her star status with the iconic Hermès Birkin bag, marking her as an eternal fashion muse. She was survived by two of her three daughters, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lou Doillon, following her death in 2023.

Pam Grier
With roles in Foxy Brown and Coffy, Pam Grier officially became one of the '70s top stars and a sex icon too. She continued her on-screen run with hit roles in Jackie Brown, The L Word and Miami Vice.
Pam's star has continued to rise with leading roles on TV horror Them, Pet Sematary: Bloodlines and sitcom Bless this Mess.

Jaclyn Smith
Jaclyn Smith originally found success as a model but it wasn't long before Hollywood came knocking and she was cast in the role of the elegant Kelly Garrett on Charlie's Angels and The Bourne Identity.
She's still acting today, and even reprised her role as Kelly in the 2003 reboot. Jaclyn recently worked on 2025's Doctor Odyssey and All American (2021-2024). She married husband Brad Allen in 1997 and welcomed two children, Spencer and Gaston, during her third marriage.

Lynda Carter
In the '70s, Lynda Carter was the woman everyone wanted to be, and plenty of fans wanted to be with. She starred in action series Wonder Woman as the titular hero between 1975 and 1979, and even cameoed in Wonder Woman 1984 (2020).
Before that, she was crowned as Miss World USA in 1972 and continues to be a beloved icon of '70s stardom. She's still acting today and most recently starred in 2026 crime comedy Super Troopers 3. Lynda is a mother of two, welcoming James and Jessica with late husband Robert A. Altman.

Britt Ekland
The seductive Willow MacGregor made Britt Ekland a memorable star in '70s classic folk horror The Wicker Man, working alongside Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward. She also appeared in '70s Bond feature The Man with the Golden Gun and thriller Get Carter.
While she found superstar fame, Britt has since quit the big screen, choosing to appear at will on the red carpet.

Jacqueline Bisset's '60s success included star roles on The Deep, The Man from Acapulco and Airport, built on her late '60s succes with hits such as The Detective, Bullitt and The Sweet Ride.
The Primetime Emmy nominee is still working hard today, counting recent roles in 2022's Loren & Rose and 2025's Long Shadows. he is also set to appear in the upcoming drama Shelter Me.

Faye Dunaway had a strong start in the late '60s with 1967 features The Happening and Hurry Sundown. Her next big hit came in 1974, with another double-bill of standouts: Chinatown and After the Fall.
The actress proved her acting talent went far beyond just her looks with an Oscar win for her 1976 role in Network.
