Meet Cheers star Shelley Long's lookalike daughter who followed her into Hollywood

Two years before Shelley exited Cheers, she and her then-husband Bruce Tyson welcomed Juliana on March 27, 1985. The proud parents raised Juliana in California. According to her LinkedIn profile, Juliana went to Marymount High School in Los Angeles, and then studied theater, dance and fine arts at Wesleyan University.

After leaving Wesleyan, Juliana studied gender studies, religion, and international relations, and theater at the University of South Carolina, before ultimately graduating with a degree in Theatre from the University of Southern California (USC).

After graduating with a degree in theater, Juliana followed her mom into Hollywood. In 2008, she made her acting debut on the CW show Privileged, playing Victoria Taylor. Since then, Juliana starred in shows like Victorious and Awkward Universe, and in films like Cry Now and The Etruscan Smile.

While Shelley didn't coin her daughter's nickname, Juliana goes by "Juju." According to her website, she was given the nickname by her 1-year-old sister when she 'decided it was the only logical way to pronounce her name.

Juliana later used the nickname in her entrepreneurial endeavors.

Although she tried her hand at acting, Juliana has been most successful in the stationery space. She founded the high-end stationery company, Good Juju Ink, in 2014, hoping to spread positivity and "good juju" through their products.

Juliana was inspired to start the business by her famous mom. "My mom traveled a lot for work (and often worked very late hours), so phone calls were difficult and writing letters was a great way to stay connected when she was gone," Juliana told the blog She's So Bright.

Before she launched her stationery company, Juliana worked as a dancer. She founded the Boom Kat Dance Theatrein Los Angeles, telling She's So Bright: "We wanted dance to serve as this universal language by which we could tell the world’s stories without the barriers of dialect."

The CEO tied the knot with her husband Ryan Kissick on September 28, 2015. The couple met when they were only three-years-old as neighbors in Pacific Palisades, California, per their wedding website. They reconnected 20 years later at a mutual friend's birthday party and fell in love.

Ryan is the head of business development at Good Juju Ink and the couple are parents to two kids. While Juliana is private about her family life, her Instagram bio reads: "Josephine & Caspian's mama."
