Halle Berry is proving that 60 has never looked better. Ahead of her milestone birthday on August 14, the star took to Instagram to show off her latest daring look, reminding fans that chic style knows no age.
The actress shared a series of new photos from her getaway to Fiji in an Instagram carousel. Halle looked incredible in a black crochet dress that featured a plunging neckline with a figure-hugging silhouette. Halle went sans bra in the knitted maxi dress and accessorized the look with layered gold necklaces, dainty hoop earrings, and a leather tote bag.
Halle's luscious locks were styled into a voluminous bob, and she sported a pair of oversized black sunglasses. "60 here I come…." she penned in the caption.

The star is embracing her new era, a topic she opened up about during an interview on the Making Space with Hoda Kotb podcast. "People actually say, 'But you've done so much. Like, isn't it time to just quit all that and sit down somewhere and just be on a permanent vacation?'" she said. "Why do I want to, after I've worked my whole life so hard and it's made me feel all of myself, it's validated who I was, it's given me a sense of purpose. Why should I now sit down and give that all away – and then what?"
Halle continued: "We're expected to find something else to do, we're expected to be on a permanent vacation as if life is somehow over, or we no longer have value, or what we have to say isn't significant anymore."

"Down that path of life, perimenopause, everything gets dry, like I said, and so intimacy and sex can become painful," Halle shared, "And so many divorces happen around this time of life because women become unable and unwilling to have sex because it’s so painful."
Halle admitted that her "biggest problem: during perimenopause was concerns that she "could not have sex anymore". However, this worry has since changed. "I am juicy like a peach. My sex life is back batting 100," she said.
