Halle Berry proved that age is just a number. The Oscar-winning actress shared a series of sun-drenched vacation snaps on Instagram ahead of her milestone 60th birthday on August 14, delighting fans with her effortless beach style and radiant confidence.
The Monster's Ball star looked stunning as she posed by an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, wearing a black bikini layered beneath a sheer black beach cover-up. Completing the relaxed resort look, Halle accessorized with oversized sunglasses and a woven straw tote as the golden sunset created a dramatic backdrop.
In another photo, the actress flashed a smile over her shoulder while carrying the oversized beach bag, while a third captured her walking away from the camera as the sheer cover-up billowed in the breeze.

Counting down to a milestone birthday
The tropical retreat arrives just days before Halle celebrates her 60th birthday, but the Hollywood icon has made it clear she has no intention of slowing down.
During a recent appearance on Making Space with Hoda Kotb, the actress opened up about why she rejects the idea that women should step back from their careers as they get older.
© Instagram"People actually say, 'But you've done so much. Like, isn't it time to just quit all that and sit down somewhere and just be on a permanent vacation?'" Halle said.
"Why do I want to, after I've worked my whole life so hard and it's made me feel all of myself, it's validated who I was, it's given me a sense of purpose. Why should I now sit down and give that all away – and then what?"
© InstagramShe continued: "We're expected to find something else to do, we're expected to be on a permanent vacation as if life is somehow over, or we no longer have value, or what we have to say isn't significant anymore.
"That's the hard part for me, I'm always combating that with people and having to quiet them on that issue."
Happier than ever
Halle has plenty to celebrate beyond her upcoming birthday.
In February, the actress announced her engagement to longtime partner Van Hunt after several years together.
Speaking previously to HELLO!, jewellery expert Nilesh Rakholia estimated the value of Halle's distinctive engagement ring to be in the "six-figure" range.
