Aryna Sabalenka took followers behind-the-scenes of her fiery photo shoot on social media.
The tennis star was crowned the cover star of TIME's September issue. On Instagram, the athlete posed in a curve-hugging black bathing suit on a basketball court, along with flip-flip heels and black sunglasses.
Fans loved the post and cheered Aryna on. One person wrote: "Queen," while another follower added: "You look amazing." Another fan commented continued: "You're so hot."
Aryna's relaxing time off
This isn't the first time that Aryna posted pictures flaunting her elegant physique while rocking beach attire.
Just last week, the star went on a getaway to Greece, where she enjoyed swimming, suntanning, delicious seafood, and dancing alongside her friends, and she shared her fun times on her Aryna's Arena YouTube series.
In the video, Aryna admitted: "Professional athletes – you don't have much time to actually chill somewhere. I just need good food, good music, sunny days, and that's my must, must have – the rest is bonuses."
The star explained to TIME just how important taking a pause is to her, expressing: "You just forget about everything. You try to dance, try to move your body, so for just that 30, 40 minutes, sometimes an hour, it's just being focused on one thing and not thinking about other stuff. It's just like a small getaway."
Aryna's need for rest
In July, Aryna lost to Naomi Osaka at Wimbledon during the round-of-16 match, and after the match, she got candid about her need for rest next.
She revealed in a press conference afterwards: "I just want to go get completely drunk [and] forget about tennis and try to get better, in better shape."
Aryna admitted to the outlet that she went after her newfound plan with one exception.
The star joked: "I had a couple of drinks. I danced a little bit, I forgot about tennis for a couple days. But I never get drunk."
Aryna's workouts
When Aryna's not vacationing off the courts, the athlete puts in the work in the gym to maintain her impressively toned figure.
Her fitness coach Jason Stacy regularly shares Aryna's intense workouts on his social media.
Before her matches, the tennis star does a mixture of cardio and strength training, which includes mobility drills, stamina-building exercises and functional movement training.
