With a life in the spotlight, Kelly Ripa has access to some of the most luxurious bodycare products on the market to ensure she's glowing for daytime television. However, during the August 17 episode of Live!, the host revealed that she may need to eliminate one product in particular for her own safety.
"We have a nice body oil that I like to put on when I'm still, like, damp in the shower. But we have to stop that because..." she began. "It's slippery," interrupted Mark Consuelos.
"Because I know what my obituary will say. I will slip in the shower, and that will be the end of me," shared Kelly. "I know," added her husband.

"You step back in, and that's that; it's slippery. It's a big slip," she shared, before Mark added, "You got to be careful."
"So we have to get rid of our luxurious and delightful body oil," admitted Kelly. However, it seems the luxurious oil is reserved solely for Kelly's use. "Yeah, I rarely put it on. I've put it on it 10 times in my life," revealed Mark.
© Getty ImagesIt seems Kelly did not believe her husband when he explained that he never uses the product. "It's amazing, though, that we go through it so fast," she said. "I don't use it. I would tell you if I use it," replied Mark.
"Somebody's using it," Kelly added, to which Mark said, "Well, it could be Lena." "She's in there with her little paws," Kelly said about the couple's dog.

During an episode in April, the couple discussed a wellness trend known as "dark showering." "Have you heard of dark showering? Dark showering in low light. It's a lifestyle trend that promises better sleep," said Mark. "I try to shower in complete darkness at all times," admitted Kelly
She continued: "Yes, there's nothing more frightening than seeing me soaking wet. 'Cause we have, like, a glass-door shower, and you can see yourself in the mirror, which is, you know, terrifying. Terrifying."

Kelly has previously called her home her "favorite place on earth". "We’ve moved several times in our lives, but no matter where we go, for me, this is my forever home," she told Architectural Digest. "When I walked in here, I was like, 'This is the final place where I will live.' I love this house so much." She continued: "I don’t want to sound morbid but they’ll have to carry me out of here feet first because I have gotten good and comfortable in this house."
